Chapter 4

After a long five minutes I saw someone step out of the car.

I saw school school shoes as the person stepped out of the car. As the person came closer I noticed that it was a girl and she was wearing our school matriculants uniform.

FAITHH!!!!! it's faith!?

I couldn't see who was driving the car,the windows were dimmed.

She spoke with the driver through the window of the car for a few seconds then the car drove off.

The black BMW.

She then walked into the yard. I quickly went to the living room just so that I could interrogate her.

When she got in the house my mother greeted her with a big smile on her face.

"How are you my big girl!?" she said to her.

"Mom, I'm too old for you to greet me like that now"faith said .

"You will always be a baby to me faith"my mom said with a smirk on her face.

I am guessing my mom didn't see the scene that just played outside. Looking at the way that she is acting. I was looking at her from the core of her eyes as she passed by me on her way to her room.

"And? What's wrong with you?" She asked me with an unpleasant look on her face.

"Where is your car?" I asked her,loud enough for my mother to hear me.

"What? You didn't come home with your car?"my mother asked her.

"Mom I was too tired to drive,my mind was tired so a friend offered me a lift."

"Oh my poor baby, don't worry it's your last year just persevere for these remaining months honey." My mother said with a concerned and kind of proud look on her face.

My mother then went back to cooking. Faith literally just gave me the middle finger as she went to her room.

I'm going to find out about this mystery car ,and it's owner.

While I was writing my homework in my room Rim texted me .

Rim: Girl ,are you excited about this upcoming school trip ? Cause I am. Plus we need to talk.

Angel: What ?Your school is also going ? I thought it was for the public schools only. Anyway school has me in chokehold right now, I don't even have time to watch my favourite series.

Rim: I have to ask my mom to ask your mom for a sleepover at your house this week. You're the only one who I can talk to about this .

When she sent the last text I just looked at it. I was lazy to text her back. I'm sure I'm not the only one who does that.

I was just chilling on my bed when Faith barged in to my room.

"Oh no you don't" I said to her.

"What game are you playing Angel? Oh, you thought that pulling your little stunt was going to make mom yell at me or something?!" She shouted at me.

"My little stunt? Or my honesty? Calm down bro."

"You know you are always behind me and pestering me. At home and at school when will I ever catch a break!"

"So you are mad that I made mom to be aware of the fact that you didn't come home with your car? Mom is too soft on you, I mean what if something happens to the car whilst it's still at school. They could steal it you know?!"

"As I said to mom, I was tired and a friend offered me a lift home. So Stay...Out...Of...My...Business."

"Before I do that, who's car was tha-"
