Dick's Thinking Cap

Chapter 1

Another beautiful day in Gotham City.

Bruce Wayne was just exiting Wayne Manor when he saw your faces.

"Welcome to Wayne Manor, everybody. I'm Bruce Wayne. You're just in time because my ward Dick Grayson's Aunt Harriet has something very special for us today" he said.

"Oh, Bruce! Where are you?" came Aunt Harriet's voice.

"Come with me" said Bruce to you guys.

His friends were on the roof of Wayne Manor with Aunt Harriet.

"Now that everyone's here, it's time for my scavenger hunt" said Aunt Harriet.

She looked at you guys and said "That's a fun game where you look all over the place trying to find things".

"What are we looking for today, Aunt Harriet?" said Charles Wallace.

"Today, Charles Wallace, you need to find three special things. I'll give you hints about what each thing is. Find them and then give them to me" Aunt Harriet instructed.

"Oh boy! That sounds fun. And tricky" said Sam.

"Will you help us find them?" said Bruce.

He let you answer.

"You will. How nice" he said.

"Now is everybody ready?" said Aunt Harriet.

"Hang on just a minute, Aunt Harriet" said Dick Grayson with fear.

"Oh! Whatever's the matter, Dick?" said Aunt Harriet.

"I have a funny feeling that maybe I forgot to put something on. Something important" said Dick.

He looked at you guys and said "Do you see what I forgot?"

He let you answer. He was in his underwear.

"Holy long-term memory! You're right! I forgot my pants!" Dick laughed.

"Mercy alive, Dick Grayson! You have friends over! Now you march yourself into that manor and put some pants on!" scolded Aunt Harriet.

Dick did as he was told and came back out in pants.

"There; that's better. Gosh, you sure are smart. I wish I could be a smartypants like you" said Dick to you guys.

Alfred, the Wayne Manor butler showed up just as he said that.

"I heard what you said, Master Dick. And I've got something to help with that" he said.

"What's that, Alfred?" said Dick.

"It's a special thinking cap. All you have to do is wear this on your head like a hat and it will help you think like a genius" said Alfred.

"Gosh, Alfred! Thanks" said Dick.

"And I shall get some tools to help with it too" said Bruce.
