I sat in the studio waiting for our car to get here and take us to the airport. I also got bored and posted a TikTok. I know I said i hate it but it's a love, hate relationship. To be honest I go through my phases with social media. Sometimes I use it sometimes I delete everything, you never know with me. "Cars here. Let's go!"Jim said excitedly We walked to the car and loaded up all of our stuff. There was about 5 people, so we had rented a van. We made our way to the airport, jamming music and chit chatting about how fun Cali was gonna be. "You excited to be by the water again?" one of the people on Jim's team questioned. "Yeah, hope I haven't forgotten my surfing skills." I laughed as we continued talking about how different it's gonna be. "Okay everyone take your boarding pass and hold onto it, just incase we get separated during boarding. We are riding first class so we'll see each other on the plane but please be careful and have your ringer on." Jim announced as we pulled into the airport drop off zone. We all hoped out and unloaded are bags before we went to luggage check. By the time we had everything settled and we were just waiting for our flight I had to pee. So me and the girl I was talking to in the van, Carrie, headed straight for the restroom. We were the only girls on this trip after all. "Wanna go get starbucks?" I questioned as I washing my hands. "Yes please, I think I may die if i don't get some caffeine in my system soon" Carrie laughed as we walked towards the door. We headed straight for the starbucks. She knew exactly where it was because of how much she travels. I however was absolutely lost, I just followed her like a puppy.
"Can I get venti Iced matcha latte with one pump of toasted vanilla syrup and soy milk please" I asked the dude taking mine and Carries order. He nodded looking over to Carrie. "Can I have a venti iced vanilla chai with two shots of blonde espresso?" He told us our total and Carrie covered it. We waited for our drinks and then we headed over to meet everyone else for the flight. I can't believe I'm actually doing this, but something in me told me LA is exactly where I should be. I couldn't explain it even if I tried. "Glad we're all here, who's ready to hit the west coast!" Jim laughed. Everyone cheering in agreement. The flight was about to start boarding so we all got in line behind the rest of the people. We all boarded and started enjoying the first class area all to ourselves. Luckily literally no one else was up here with us. Of course I was the only one under 21 so I wasn't drinking like everyone else, but I enjoyed myself nonetheless. Quite the party we had, so of course Jim had to go and ruin it with a speech. "Attention everyone!" He smiled walking over to me. Oh great, it's about me. "I want to take a minute to appreciate Serenity. Who is taking a huge step in her career. I know all of you won't be staying with us the whole time, but each and everyone of us has helped to get her here. Of course she wouldn't be here without here dedication to singing, but if I could have picked the perfect team to help her, it would be this team right here. So to Serenity for chasing her dreams, and to all of us for standing by her and her beautiful voice. TO US!" He finished. Smiling and drawing us into a group hug. It may seem like I don't really like Jim, but I do love him, like he said. I wouldn't be here without him and his team. I'm beyond grateful for him and this opportunity.
