*A/n: This next chapter is going to take place about 1 year after Stiles starts to "distance" himself from Kyler. He is in the mafia and just started taking supplements at this point and has not told anyone. The way he treats Kyler now since that night will be a huge change. Pay attention :)*

*Stiles's p.o.v*

I was standing with the girls near my locker packing up my things for the next class. I don't sit or hang with Kyler that much anymore. I only sit and hang out with the girls who remind me every day that avoiding what happened and never talking about it again is what is making the tension even worse between us. Kyler tried talking to me after what happened, but he gave up. He gave up after 2 weeks but who was counting. All it took was two weeks for that freaking asshole to give up and not care I was avoiding him with good reason. Even when I go to the house to see Malia, he doesn't go home when he knows that I am going over.

I was snapped out of my thoughts when Malia snapped her fingers in my face.

"Stiles, can y'all just make up? I know you guys miss each other like crazy." Malia sighed.

"He has other friends." I stated.

"But he doesn't have his best friend in his corner." Stella pointed out.

"Well Cassidy replaced me as his best friend." I pointed out.

"Is that why you have been acting weird towards me thinking I have replaced you?" I blushed and walked away quickly when I heard Kyler's voice behind me. Oh yeah, one more thing. Kyler's voice hit puberty, so he sounds so sexy and I run away like a fool everytime. I ran into the bathroom and I sighed in relief when I looked myself in the bathroom. I waited for a while before going to class. I switched the classes that I had with Kyler. The only class that I have with him is AP government and that's because this is the only time they had it available.

I avoid him in every possible way in this class. I don't even sit near him. I sit near the door, so when it is time to leave, I can get the hell outta there. Today was not any different. I sat in my usual spot. Today was our self study day which is my favorite day of the week in this class. I was researching topics I found interesting in politics. I was so concentrated that I squealed when the back of my neck was grabbed.

"How did you get that bruise on your back?" Kyler asked from behind me.

"It is not your business..." I told him. I gasped when he grabbed my arm and yanked me out of my seat out into the hallway. I looked at my feet but he was not having that at all. He gripped my chin and made me look at him.

"I have to do self-

"Stiles, how did that bruise get on your neck?" he asked.

"Kyler, why are you concerned? Stop being so concerned about me! Go to your friends!" I whispered shouted.

"Stiles, what the hell is your problem with me?" Kyler asked.

"You didn't even try. You said two weeks and boom I am done trying..." I admitted.

"What else was I suppose to do? I tried everything to get you to talk to me, but I can only do so much. Of course I was going to give up because you were not talking to me. I had to move on." Kyler admitted. I froze and looked at him. I just nodded my head and chuckled to keep myself from not crying in front of him.

"Okay, so you moved on with Cassidy and the rest of them. So you moved on with them, so let me move on." He let me go and sighed.

"If that's how you feel then I will accept that..." Kyler said looking at me.

"So I finally get to hear how you really feel. I knew it. You were trying to get rid of me!" I shouted.

"Stiles, at a certain point, I just got tired of waiting around for you to come talk to me when you were ready and it put a strain of my relationship with Cassidy for a while. I have to put my relationship first because I love Cassidy. I have to put him first because I was always putting our friendship over our relationship." He admitted. That just broke me completely and I didn't want him to see me broken. I looked at him with no emotions and said:
