Hello everyone! I hope everyone reads this for there could be some confusion and possibly comments saying to explain what's going on for when you read the story. To put it simple, I will be listing a few key points to the story; it will not give anything vital away but it will shed some light on our two favorite characters. Most the information will be on Lumine though.
1. After searching the internet with questions about the characters for laughs and giggles, I learned that the Travelers (Lumine) in the actual game technically do not have a solid age. They look around 15-18 but from what the internet says they are 500+ (Game also says there like 500 years old). But it pretty much sums up to saying how they are very much like the Archons in how they don't age and are technically immortal. So I will be going with the idea that Lumine and Aether are unable to die by normal, "mortal things".
2. Everyone should know this if you have played the game or read the manga. Pretty much the twins have wings and that was stripped away from them by the unknown god. The only difference in this is that Lumine is extremely sensitive on we're her wings used to be, and doesn't like bring up the topic very much. She has phantom pains, it technical but it will be explained in later chapters.
3. If anyone is confused by why it's set at the beginning, it because I want to make certain things on my own view. To put it more simple, the story is basing itself around how I'm playing the game.
4. Venti! Our wonderful, adorable, boy. Yeah, we love him I know. Half the people reading this are probably Venti Simps, I would know I am one. Anyways, to clear things up with his sexuality, cause I've heard many people say he's gay; when I looked it up, there was nothing on his personal profile saying about sexuality. So for my personal opinion, I will just stick with Venti being Straight, or maybe Bi. (Not against anything I am very open so don't take it the wrong way please.)
5. Both Venti and Lumine are best friends and act like a couple already. Do not get it wrong they aren't, they just are oblivious to each other (kinda, I know Venti isn't that oblivious) Venti can also still access his other forms, so yeah. (Explained in later chapters.)
6. Lumine doesn't like people touching her shoulders unless she's ok with it. Or unless she knows the certain person personally. She's very shy in front of new people, so she doesn't speak unless she has to. (Game reference of were she doesn't have actual voice lines unless you go to character settings and she has huge conversations with Paimon)
7. Finally, we have Paimon really quick, yes she will be in the story, but not often. Knowing that she doesn't show up often in game unless side quests sometimes and main storyline. Don't get me wrong she's one of my favorite characters actually, but uh, I'm just lazy and don't wanna type out her talking. So you can pretend she's like asleep half the time or with someone else hanging out.
Alright that's all everyone, the first chapter will be awhile and I don't know how often I'll update, but after this authors note it should just be chapters, unless something important comes up, then that's the only reason I'll post a urgent update on here. Hope you enjoy the story!
