Before the chapter begins, I want to apologize for this chapters picture. It is not my best work of art, due to the fact that I was developing a better art style that fits me. The next picture shall be better, I promise.

Venti sat in silence, bent over on a small red poof pondering the current situation. He let his thoughts wonder and he stared silently at the now peacefully resting Traveler. It has only been about an half hour since finding Lumine lying prone to the darkening sky. Since then, she's been bandaged with the help of Paimon, and then changed by one of the maids Diluc hired.

So many emotions ran through Venti at the time, he couldn't exactly get comfort from anyone, Paimon disappeared into her weird pocket world shortly after seeing as her traveling partner was going to be alright in the end. So he sat, and closed his eyes, muttering silent words to the wind.

A light knock abruptly sounded on the door, with which Venti responded to with a quiet, "Enter,"

Honestly, Venti was in shock, he wasn't expecting the Diluc Ragnvindr to come and see how he was doing. Lumine yes, it made perfect sense. But him, a chaotic alcoholic-bard and absentee Archon. No, never expected that one.

Diluc currently sat on another chair, one not so close to the bed, but more near the window that was now cracked open, letting cool air flush through the stuffy room. Outside the pouring storm was now a light drizzle, the sun peeking through the clouds.

Venti's POV:

"Diluc, please. I've already explained to you that I'm fine," I exclaimed as quietly as a mouse would, non-visible frustration was already building from this wonderful conversation.

A muffled gruff was sounded in turn, "For Archons sake Venti, your clearly not fine. You've got eyebags forming, and your fidgeting with your cape,"

Caught.

"Ah.. You noticed that huh.." a sheepish reply streaked past my lips.

"Yes, indeed I've noticed," a impatient sigh left the red heads lips in front of me.

"For petes sake, your not even rhyming or trying to cover up that your not doing well over this matter," exasperated, Diluc stood up abruptly, walking over to the door and opening it.

"Barbados. At least try to get some rest, sleep if you have to. Just don't force yourself, its not a good thing," Diluc mumbled towards me, before finally leaving the room, and closing the door with a small click.

Leaning back somewhat in my seat, I groan quietly to myself. He was correct, this matter is frustrating, how did I not sense what was happening? Was Lumine somewhere with no wind? It could make sense, there are certain parts in Liyue that have deep cave systems, like the Chasm.
