Val's POV

I could feel her stare boring into the side of my head, but I ignore it, choosing to focus on the movie we decided to watch.

She would move from her spot every few minutes, di mapakali na parang kiti-kiti.

"How was Pangasinan?" she tried and miserably failed to ask nonchalantly, the tilt in her voice not masking her obvious intentions.

"Masaya. It was fun." I said absent-mindedly, still focusing on the movie. I know hindi yun ang gusto niyang marinig, pero hayaan niyo na ko, matagal-tagal ko ring hindi napagtripan to.

"Anything, interesting happen?" she continued, trying to pry further.

"We saw the sunset sa beach. Maganda talaga." I tried my best to hold my laughter in when I heard her scoff at my lack of cooperation with her pagka-marites.

My phone pinged a notification then, notifying me of a message that came through. Seeing the sender made me bite my lips in an attempt to stop the growing smile on my face.

"Hindi talaga mapaghiwalay tsktsk. Akala mo hindi magkasama ng dalawang araw." Laura says, having moved from the other end of the couch to stuffing her face into my space, peeking at the contact name, just as I was turning it off.

"Ang kulit kulit mo, pano kung hindi pala siya kausap ko?"

"As if, sa kaniya ka lang naman ngumingiti nang ganyan." I stuck my tongue out to her in response.

"Inggit ka lang di ka pa narereplayan ng bebe mo."

"False po. Nagpaalam na yun kanina, di raw makakapagreply, busy." she says, responding back with her own tongue out.

"Kayo na mga nasa healthy relationship for leni-kiko." I say, rolling my eyes good-naturedly at her.

"Pwede ka pa naman sumunod, kaya lang torpe ka."
