"So how do you wanna tell him?" I asked Bella. I was talking about the game me and Bella got asked to attend. Rosalie had texted me about it and I guess Edward told Bella about it, they were having a family baseball game that they wanted us to have. "I might just tell him straight up." She told me shrugging after pulling her hair up. "Are you insane? You can't just tell him straight up dad will freak out." I said to her. "Well to bad I'm going." She said walking downstairs with me hot on her tail.
When we got down there we saw that dad was cleaning his shot gun, "Nice going Bella tell dad you have you're first ever date while he's cleaning a gun!" I whisper yelled at her. She just shushed me and we kept walking into the kitchen.
She went straight up to dad and set her hands on the table he was sitting at and said, "I have a date with Edward Cullen." I threw my hands up in the air with disbelief of this girl. 'She just can't be subtle can she.'
"He's a little old for you, isn't he?" Dad said "No. He's a junior. I'm a junior." She told him trying to convince him to let her go, "I thought you liked the Cullens." "I thought you didn't like any of the boys in town?" Dad asked her taking a sip of beer. "Edward doesn't live in town." She said pausing for a second "Technically." Dad said eyeing her "He's right outside." "He is?" Dad asked looking towards where the front door is and finally noticing me in the background, "You okay with her going off with him?" He asked me "I mean he seems cool, plus Rosalie asked me on a date too." I said looking down and playing with the sleeves with my sweater. "She has?" He asked, and I shook my head 'yes' in response.
"He wanted to meet you, officially." Bella told him bringing the attention back to her. "All right. Bring him in." Dad said as he cocked his gun. "Could you be nice? He's important." She asked him Dad made a halo motion around his head while staring at her. I just chuckled and moved to stand next to dad while Bella went to grab the sparkling fairy.
"Chief Swan." Edward started 'Suck up' I thought rolling my eyes "I wanted to formally introduce myself. I'm Edward Cullen." He said to him sticking his hand out for dad to shake. Dad took it and greeted him, "Hi, Edward." "Bella and Elijah won't be out too late, they are just gonna play baseball with my family." He told dad, throwing my name into it too. Dad looked at me not expecting to hear my name too, "Baseball?" He asked "Yes sir, that's the plan." Edward told him "Bella and Elijah are gonna play baseball." He said laughing a bit, "Well, good luck with that." "I'll take good care of them. I promise." He said
