After seeing Brad's thumbs-up you walk to this men's clothing store. You try on a suit but it didn't seem to quite fit right. Frowning at yourself in the mirror you try on a diffrent suit
With Frank
Frank had just gotten done investigating the other photographer when he goes back to the safe house to see Brad there but no Y/n this made him worry.
"Hey uh where's Y/n?" He asks.
"She said she'd catch up with me later so I just left" Brad explains
"Where?" Frank asks
"In the entrance plaza" he replies.
"Thanks" Frank responds before heading out to find you. He makes his way through the mall and comes across the entrance plaza. He hears gunshots coming from the men's clothing store. He goes to check it out once the gun shots aren't heard anymore. He looks around the corner to see you in another suit that dosent fit, looking in the mirror with a frown on your face "need any help?" Frank asks chuckling you turn around quickly aiming your gun at Frank. Once you realize who he was you put the gun down.
"Jeez Frank don't sneak up on me like that" you say resting your hand on your chest. "I almost shot you" you contenue.
"Well do you need any help?" Frank asks again.
"I, um" you mumble blushing.
"You know I don't care babe" he says walking over to you with a smile. Frank helps you find a nice button up and pants instead of a suit, because a suit would be to constricting for the apocalypse. "Is that any better?" He asks. You nod your head.
"Yes it is, thank you" you reply before giving him a kiss. he smiles before pulling away
"Well are you ready to go?" He asks, you nod your head once more. Frank then takes your hand and leads you through the mall back to the security room. Once the two of you make it back in there and the game plan goes down. Brad explains what happened with Dr. Barnaby.
"So that's what Dr. Barnaby said huh?" Jessie asks
"The old coots not dumb he wants us to call for help first" Brad explains "you got a line out or what?" Brad asks. Jessie then checks her computer. It makes a beeping noise and she sighs
"The signals being blocked, I can't even contact hq on the emergency line" she explains
"So, if we want to get our hands on Dr. Barnaby we're gonna have to secure a way out of here ourselves" Brad explains "Alright we've gotta deal with the situation we've been handed" he states "the bone heads back at hq might be working on something too" he says.
"There's a helicopter coming" Frank says making Brad stop in his tracks. "Three days from now, noon it's our ride" he says looking at you when he said 'our'.
"Is your ride reliable?" Brad asks.
"Absolutely, that's how we plan on getting outta here" Frank explains.
"Alriggt then, I'll see to it that DHS picks up the charter fee, can we take Dr. Barnaby as well?" Brad asks
"Sure" Frank says. "As long as you tell us what's going on" he contenues.
"Okay I'll tell you what you want to know, later" Brad explains "we have more pressing business right now" he explains "if we have to wait here for three days we are gonna need supplies. Water, blankets, and the like" he explains walking to the door. "We'll bring Dr. Barnaby here in the morning, in the meantime I want you watch the monitors" he says looking at Jessie. Before walking off. After Brad leaves as Jessie is watching the monitor
"So what's with the sudden change of clothes D/n?" Jessie asks
"Y/n" Frank says correcting her
"Oh okay" she says putting the peices together immediately. "Never mind then" she says in an almost sing-song like voice. She watches the cameras for a little bit "my brother is like that" she says "I love my brother, he never fit in growing up but once he found out he was a boy everything changed" she said absent-mindedly talking. Then she Snapped back to reality "oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that" she says blushing from embarrassment
"Don't worry about it kid" you say with a smile.
"There might be survivors still in the mall" Frank says standing up because he could tell you were feeling akward. You stand up after him "could you keep an eye on us in the monitors?" Frank asks Jessie simply nods her head "great let's go" Frank says before the two of you leave. The two of you make it out of the air vents and where halfway to the elevator before there was a call from Otis telling you two about how a ride was going really fast in the wonderland plaza. So the two of you decide to go check it out. You have your pistol and on your guys way there Frank finds a chainsaw
"Frank I don't think you need a chainsaw" you say looking at him
"You never know babe" he says with a smirk. You roll your eyes before the both of you contenue on.
