In a place of unknown origins where it seemed to have vast and continuous hallways that stretched miles, there walked a woman with heels resounding quietly yet noticeably throughout the halls.

*sigh*
Nothing more than a lost woman with a nagging voice in her head.
"What is it now," I said to the voice as it continued to talk.
-"'White lotus', I have been wondering as to how you've managed to outrun a low-level monster with heels throughout the game."-
'Oh?' I thought not surprised much.
-"With all due respect my host, how is it you've successfully killed two low-level monsters without prior experience, I mean you were caught by surprise were you not? Most would be too shocked to even move."-
"..."
If you were to see me in my everyday life, you would find that I don't ever miss a beat to adaption and always have heels on. Before I got kidnapped and transported into this sh¡Tty game, I was a well-respected lawyer in the world of law and justice.
I got my doctorate degree from the University of Brown and have been a lawyer for three years. I would say I was at the Pinnacle of life.
My sisters and brothers had the opportunity to go to school and my mother had the chance to get better in health.
It was my chance to make anyone see who exactly I was and what I do. Not much to prove to people necessarily, but to myself.
"It was almost perfect" I spoke nonchalantly trying to take out some nerves i still had from the shock before.
Too bad I'm fighting and laughing at the sight of death and hell at the moment.
*sigh*
'I wonder how they're doing,' I thought as I ignored my system's speech and turned a corner to once again see another set of the vast hallways.
I hope they have now come to realize that I never made it home. It is not likely they would think I went somewhere because I would rather make it home after work. Always.
-"I suppose you won't answer my question 'White lotus'"-
"Are the two monsters still in my proximity?" I told the voice ignoring completely what it asked. I can't afford to tell them my personal information.
Right now, it's probably playing the "nice" role for now.
-"According to the data released by the radar from your character, there are still two monsters in your proximity."-
At its response, I pursed my lips and thought to myself, 'They're like hound dogs...'
-"'White Lotus', is there a specific place you have decided to go to?"
I inwardly deadpanned.
'You think I know where I'm going? I'm flattered.' I thought monotonously.
"No. Stop with this meaningless chit-chat, tell me how to get a better weapon."
-"ye-"-
"And don't let me catch you lying"
-"Of course"- the robotic voice said while softly and silently giggling.
