Prologue

my last as I'm working towards
being a casual writer here.

My head hurts

Why can't I move my body?

All I hear is cries as my comrades die in the hands of titans and I can't do anything. The smell of blood, blood of my comrades, people I spent days and nights with, eating, laughing and training with overwhelmed my nose.
Then suddenly...silence fell upon me and with a thud a titans body was taken down. The feet of horses running came nearer and nearer.

"Captain we have one alive!"

A voice yelled and when I opened my eyes I saw blue orbs, blue like the sky and filled with hope and peace. Just by looking at those eyes I felt like I was in safe hands, felt like I was in the clouds riding away safely.

"Hurry up! We have to take her back, she can still pull through" the voice yelled out again, it belonged to the person with the blue eyes. They held my hand gently and smiled softly at me "it'll be okay just try to..hey,hey keep your eyes open"

I shaked my head to the side as my eyes felt heavy, I felt like the air in my body was leaving me by every second. My eyes wandered back up to the sky and a faint smile made its way onto my face "This is it" I closed my eyes and everything turned dark around me.

"We're losing her!"

"Make way Alert, I can take it from here!"

"Everyone stand back and give Hange space to work!"

"There's a pulse but it's weak! I can save her if we leave now!"

Faint voices is all I heard while I drifted off into the darkness slowly, horses neighed as people's footsteps were all around almost like they were running.

How'd things get so bad so quick? How was I the only still alive? All I remembered was seeing titans come out of nowhere from all sides and ambushed us, we tried to fight them off but with the fear in our bodies we made impulsive decisions and it cost us our lives
