It has been two weeks since I've woken up and I'm already healing up well.

Levi and Hange took care of me most of the time and everyday after breakfast, lunch and dinner the trio would visit me and update me on their days, how training went and would make jokes with me, I started to become close with them.

It was odd that my own friends didn't visit thou, Eren would mention how hostile they were whenever they heard my name. It did make me sad but it didn't matter now, I made new friends and was recovering really well.

I could walk by myself now but not at long distances, captain Levi would always be around observing me and Hange as we walked out to the fields. Hange said it was a great exercise to get my legs working and would help me to heal up quicker so that I could join everyone in training.

"Short cake are you ready for our walk for today" Hange said as she was helping me get dressed up. I did have some trouble with putting on my clothes,more especially a bra so Hange and Mikasa would help me out.

"Yeah I guess, is captain Levi coming with us?" I asked Hange and they went quiet all of the sudden "of course I'm coming brat" Levi's voice echoed as he walked into the room and sat by his usual place near the window with a cup of tea.

I walked out from behind the dressing room and sat on the bed and tried to put on my boot. Levi sighed out softly then placed his cup down and kneeled before me, he took my foot in his hand, he was so gentle with it, his fingers held my leg up by the calf as he put the boot on onto my foot "does it hurt?" He asked as he adjusted by foot and I shaked my head. He nodded at me then did the same to the other boot, he got up onto his feet and dusted himself off before he helped me off the bed.

A knock came from the door as I stood up and Hange went over to open the door

"Commander Erwin would like to see you Captain Hange" the male said as he saluted Hange. Hange looked back at I and Levi with a soft smile then they turned to us "Shorty would you mind taking y/n for her walk?" Levi clicked his tongue and crossed his arms over his chest "yes I do, I have to train the brats" he walked over to the window and looked out of it. His jaw clentched slightly then he turned back to Hange "I'll have to take her with me there"

"Thank you shorty" Hange said as they waved at us and left the room in a rush. I was left alone with Captain Levi now, honestly it felt weird. For the past weeks, I always had Hange by my side when we took my walks for exercise. Now I was left with non other than Captain Levi, humanity's strongest soldier, the one man titan killing machine. His eyes pierced through my skin while I had my back turned to him, he wasn't happy about the changes but I felt the same about it.

"Come on brat" he walked past me as he spoke in a demanding tone. I nodded my head then followed behind him out of the room. It was silent between us as we walked down the empty hallway. The only sound made was of our boots clicking against each other and the sounds of our shoes echoed. I had to walk at a rather slow pace since my body wasn't fully healed. I was making it thou, finding more and more strength each day to move forward, the sooner I'm healed the better for me and everyone. While we walked Levi slowed down his pace a bit so he could be next to me, he offered out his hand for me to hold. At first this seemed weird and out of the ordinary for him and me. Hange used to do that to me while we walked, it was for moral support and for when I feel tired I could just squeeze her hand. I placed my hand on his and he took it. His palms felt warm on my skin and his slender fingers wrapped around my hand. He cast a side glance at me while our hands were locked together and continued to walk.

Usually I'd got out the back and into the forest with Hange but today was different, I was going to the training grounds. We had to take the path through the hallways, it's been a while since I've been through the hallways or the mess hall. I looked around at the ceiling, the walls and the many doors we passed, everything still looked the same as ever. The only change is the carpet that was layed out on the floor. It was a faded red carpet rolled out right through the hallways and looked like it had a bit of dirt. Levi noticed the dirt in the carpet and grit his teeth together, he was going to make the cadets clean it as punishment. The ceiling still had its old chandeliers that hung down with little pearls , the wooden doors seemed to have been painted over with some brown paint. It was nice to know that not much changed but frightening as soon I'll be joining everyone once more, I won't be locked up in that room, alone all day. I wondered who'd be my roommate, if I'm going to eat in the mess hall, when will my hand heal, cause right now I started to feel like a burden onto everyone.
