I open my eyes to a bright light a quiet beeping sound.
"Where-..."
"(Y/N)?" I hear a familiar voice say.
I look over to my mom sitting in a chair next to me.
"Mom?"
She hugs me.
"I thought you'd never wake up..." She says Inbetween sobs.
"What do you mean? What happened?" I ask.
She sits back, and I notice she looks a little older.
"You've been in a coma for the past 6 years..." She sniffles.
"What!?" I sit up quickly, which causes me to feel lightheaded.
"Take it easy." My Mom says.
"Where's Michael and his siblings?" I ask.
"They've been visiting every once in a while, but Michael hasn't really showed up recently."
"What about their father, William?" I hesitantly ask.
"He's... gone."
...
We both hear the door slam open, and we both look over at a doctor.
"Oh, you're awake." He walks up and sits in another chair next to me.
"Since you're awake, maybe you could tell us what you remember."
"Uh, okay."
He looks down at his clipboard.
"Do you remember anything from the day of the accident?"
I take a moment to try to remember.
"No, not really..."
"How about anything before the accident?" He asks.
"Yeah, I remember a lot, but not everything."
|| About 10 Minutes of Questions later... ||
"Hmm..." The doctor ponders.
He stands up and walks to the door.
"Well, I'm going to sign some paperwork and then you're free to go, but Mrs. (L/N), if your son has any memory loss, please let us know."
"Okay."
He leaves the room, and my mom turns to me.
"I'll call Michael and his siblings." She says, and then she walks out of the room.
I sigh and rest my eyes.
A/N: I only noticed how cringey Part 1 was until maybe 10 chapters in, so I was trying not to make this one less cringey. :']
This was kinda hard to write since I'm not that good at writing emotions.
Anyways I'm gonna stop writing here, so bye and goodnight/good morning!
