Hopper POV

Hi, I'm hopper. I live in the rich neighbourhood in the city, and I go to a very nice school. You could say I'm one of the popular and respected kids, buttttt my friends aren't really the nicest people in the world... that's where we're not alike at all.
My friends aka the other popular kids like to make fun of other behind their backs, take and post embarrassing pictures of people, they adore parties where someone hooks up with someone one way or another, and they adore drama, but most of all some of them even enjoy bullying others. That's what I don't really appreciate about them, but I know for a fact if I stopped hanging out with them they would for sure ruin my whole career and reputation in the school..

As I got out of my home, and got to school, I saw some of my friends laughing while some boy was running into the building so fast I couldn't even make out who it was.

"God that was hilarious! Did you see his shoes?!" Rachel said
"Yeah dude, the guy practically only has one pair ahah!" Replied Josh
I came up to them and started a conversation
"Hey guys uh what's so funny?" I asked all 4 of them
"Oh my god Hopper you just missed the most hilarious thing ever!" Said Rachel and Dean in union
"So yk that Phil kid from 4-2 right?" Asked Josh
"Uhhh yeah I do? Why?"
"Well, he just came to school wearing the same yeezis he always wears and that. Is. So. Embarrassing." Said Melanie
*Maybe he's going through something and he doesn't have enough money to buy new shoes? Did your dumbasses ever think about that?* is what I wanted to say to them, but instead I just chuckled "yeah heh..."
"Anyway let's head to class and try and find caiti" said Rachel to the others meanwhile i stood in place like a statue
"Hopp you aint comin'?" Asked Dean
"Uhhh I'll catch up with you guys in a bit, I just have to get something done." I said trying not to sound suspicious
"Um alright then, see you in class then!" Said Melanie and dragged the others away as they started talking and cackling again

*god what a bunch of assholes...* I thought to myself as I stood outside the school for a bit longer before I heard the first bell, and rushed in so that I wouldn't be late
