As i kept my bags in and was gonna close the door of my apartment... a beautiful voice barged into the corridor... it was coming from the house opposite mine... the door was half open but no one was seen...
"Aagam beta pleaseee come fast" A young woman in her late twenties called out.
"Coming mummaaa" A cute voice filled in the corridor.
The mother - son duo came out together and the woman turned to lock the door.
She was in a white tunic and jean while the boy who was around 4-5 year old was in his school uniform.
The kid was damn cute! He looked at me and then his mom turned around... wow... she doesn't look like a mom man... she is damn beautiful!!!
I smiled at them and said "New here, your new neighbour"
"Oh okay, sorry we're in a hurry right now" She said.
"It's okay please carry on" I said.
She nodded and held the kid's hand and started walking towards the lift. We lived on the fifth floor.
I locked myself in and looked around the fully furnished apartment... Not bad! It's actually well maintained and therefore i'm free of cleaning.
My phone rang "Yeah, I'm here... everything's fine! Okay... bye"
I got ready into formals and left for the first day of the new job!
I came back in the evening to find the same mom - son duo in the corridor. The woman was trying to unlock the door which was jammed i guess.
"Excuse me" He said.
She looked at him and he asked "Any problem?"
Aagam jumped in "Uncle hamara darwaza jam hogaya hai"
He looked at her "Can i see?"
She said "No it's okay, i'll manage"
"Please let me help" He said politely.
She nodded and moved giving him space. In minutes he successfully opened the door...
"Thank you" She said.
"Thank you uncle" Aagam slightly squealed.
He smiled and said "I'm Ram, moved in here today morning"
"I'm Priya..."
"I'm Aagam"
Priya looked at aagam and then back at ram with "Sorry, he is a very active and a jovial kid"
"Arey its okay, its actually good... kids like him are a blessing i should say.." He then looked at aagam "and champ you're damn cute"
Aagam grinned "Thank you uncle"
"Aap akele ya koi family member?" Priya enquired.
"Jee I'm alone, don't have a family"
"Oh i'm sorry"
"No worries... aur aap?"
"Just the two of us...um excuse me, dinner bhi banana hai abhi toh..." Priya said.
"Oh please yes, see you later.." Ram turned to aagam "Bye champ"
"Bye uncle"
And they disappeared into their apartment. Ram sighed and moved back in his.
