From what he could tell, Kal had been in the Entity's realm for about 2 months. Things have definitely progressed in that time. For one, he has beaten each of the Killers in combat at least once. Though a few, such as the Huntress and Nemesis, did manage to beat him. Still, Kal noticed the other Survivors begin to just stop trying. Some had even stopped caring if they were sacrificed or not. Things were going downhill quickly.

Some new Killers had arrived as well, but they could essentially be boiled down to a lady with crows, a ghost that comes out of a TV, and a giant flesh monster. The new survivors probably would have interested him, but by the time they came around, he had gotten experienced enough to not need their perks.

For the fifth time since his last Trial, Kal catches himself glancing at the dagger stuck into one of the trees nearby. He had been told within his first week that it could be used to request an audience with the Entity, but no one ever bothered trying. Not once had the Entity answered any of their calls.

However, after seeing how his fellow Survivors were losing hope, even the original four who had been there the longest and helped encourage the others to not give up, he decides to go ahead and try.

Standing from the log he was sitting on, Kal walks over to the tree and yanks the knife from the bark. He can feel the other Survivors staring at him, but it was obvious they had no hope that it was going to work.

Taking the blade, he slices it into the palm of his hand, as Dwight had explained to him, and waits. Long, agonizing seconds that seem to take an eternity pass, before dark black smoke begins to pool from the wound. The other Survivors are shocked, but no one has the opportunity to say anything before the smoke rushes out in a torrent and covers Kal completely.

The smoke eventually dissipates, and Kal opens his eyes to see that same copy of himself from months ago. The Entity was leaning back, relaxing in a metal folding chair. It motions for Kal to sit in the chair across from it, to which the man obliges.

"So, why do you wish to speak with me?" The Entity asks, a hint of amusement in its voice. The man takes a deep breath and states, "Do you fear death?"

The Entity's smile fades ever so slightly, obviously surprised by the question, but its confidence quickly returns. "Did you forget who you're speaking to?" It asks with a slight chuckle.

"Oh, I know what I'm speaking to. You're a being that feeds off the strong emotions of humans by trapping in a realm of endless torment. Again, do you fear death?" Kal asks again.

The Entity's confident smile has been replaced with a frown, and it leans forward in its chair to look him in the eyes. "What's your point"

"The Survivors are losing hope. Many don't even try to do generators and just let the Killer sacrifice them. I know you can just discard them and get new victims, but that won't last forever. There are countless dimensions, but even if you tap into all of them, there is still a finite amount. Eventually, you will die. It may take eons of eons, but eventually, you'll run out of things to feed on. And then you'll starve to death"

The Entity gives Kal a cold stare, before asking, "And what is your plan? Why throw this into my face?"

Kal simply leans back and states, "Instead of replacing your food source with new people, replenish the people you already have. Give them something to strive towards. A reason to keep going"

     "Which is?"

"A party. Every 1 Million Bloodpoints that they give directly to you instead of exchanging them for perks and items, both the Survivors and Killers get 24 hours to relax. When they ask for something, you give it. They can't be hurt or killed, and you will have no influence over the Killers. Once the 24 hours end, they get back to the Trials"

The Entity pauses to think, considering the proposition. "Why have them together? The Killers and Survivors. Why have them benefit from each other when one side gains the hypothetical reward?"

Kal leans forward and states, "It's bad enough to be killed by a stranger, but the despair is much worse when someone's killed by someone that they know"

The Entity can't help but smile at the man's words. "You're quite evil, you know? Alright. I'm willing to approve of your idea. On one condition, though" Kal's clone grabs him by the shirt and pulls him in to whisper into his ear.

The man's eyes widen for a moment, but they return to normal once the Entity lets go of him.

Holding out a hand for him to shake, it asks "So, do we have a deal?"

A tall cloud of black smoke rises from the ground, and after a second, Kal appears from it, the man standing next to the tree that had the knife restuck into the bark. However, Kal looked different. Much different.

The man's jacket and jeans had been replaced with combat gear: Military fatigues, a chest rig with no ammunition in it, a plate carrier, and a sheath for a knife near his left shoulder. A KA-BAR is inside the sheath, and Kal has what looks to be a bundle of cloth in his right hand, which had a thick, plated glove on it.

He had a sad look on his face as he walks over to the other Survivors, who are frozen by his appearance. Eventually, Jake simply asks him, "So, what's with the new getup?"

Kal gives Jake a sad smile and sits down on one of the metal folding chairs nearby. "It's part of the deal. Don't interrupt me, I'll explain"

Taking a deep breath, Kal begins to speak, "When one of you gets 1,000,000 Bloodpoints, you can turn them in to the Entity for a 24-hour-long party. Everyone gets to attend, Survivors and Killers, no one can be harmed during the party, and the Entity will disconnect itself from the Killers. You can eat, drink, play games, or just relax, and no one will be pulled into a Trial until the 24 hours end. If multiple Survivors turn in a million Bloodpoints at the same time, the time is increased depending on the number of people, so 48 hours for two people 72 hours for three, etc. etc."

"But for this whole thing to take place, you had to become a Killer," Bill says coldly, and Kal just nods

"In the Trials, don't hold back. Do whatever you have to to try and escape, because I'll be doing everything it takes to bring you down" Kal notices the look on some of their faces, likely because they thought he would go at least a little easy on them, and continues with, "The Entity made me relive a day that I've been trying to forget for. . . years, to be honest. I can't go through that again"

Having sensed that Kal had talked enough, black smoke starts to curl around his feet, and he looks at the Survivors. "You might want to have a look at my info soon. It'll give you an idea of what you're up against, and let's just say my backstory will be a bit updated"

With this, the smoke engulfs him, and after a bit, it dissipates, and he was gone.

Leon looks at the stump that held both their own information and the information on the Killers. After a quick check, he lets out a sigh of relief to see that Kal's perks were still there. However, he pales when he checks the Killers' page and sees a new face. It was Kal, wearing a skull balaclava, staring right back at him with a cold look in his eyes, and under the image were the words, "The War Criminal"

It was obvious that the others wanted to get some information on their friend-turned-opponent, Leon closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, before looking back down at the image in front of him, and beginning to read.
