Phenex left the building in a fast pace, as she was ordered to find as many survivors as possible. The moment she walked into the forest, she found one of them, an undead lying on the ground with a blank stare that was aimed at the sky. She was a rouge, Phenex thought to remember. Kiryn was her name, Phenex guessed, from the shady picture she had in her head as the undead once.. walked by on Hellscreams fist.
Next to her were two confused and hopeless looking panda-people, "Oh dear.. she took a pretty nasty spill! Such horrific damage.. I haven't been able to wake her.. Huh?" The woman of the two looked up as she heard Phenex approaching, "W-who are you? What do you want?" she tensed a little with a scared look in her eyes, scanning the blood stained girl while getting ready to run if needed. "U-uh.." Phenex thought of what she should do now, she couldn't talk after all. She held her hands up in a calming manner, pointing at the Horde symbol engraved in her clothing and then Kiryn on the ground. "You.. you're one of them?" the pandaren calmed a little, "Can you not speak?" she tilted her head a little, inspecting the blonde with a hint of curiosity gleaming in her eyes. Phenex only responded with a nod and kneeled down to the undead, shaking the undead, till giving up an deciding to write a note to the pandaren.
Could you tell Kiryn to snap out of it and that Nazgrim has ordered us to report to the nearby village? She wrote, and the Bear-woman responded with a nod, doing exactly that and the undead jumped up, mumbled something and go towards the village.
Bowing in a thanking manner, she wrote another note, asking whether she could be of any help to them. "Ah yes, there is something that you could do." the woman nodded, "The animals have all gone crazy and we can't seem to keep them away. The mayor has summoned the Shado-Pan, but they're not all here yet, could you take care of those prowlers before they maul one of our farmers?" she requested, earning a quite friendly nod from Phenex, which turned the attention of the panda-man, who till now only sulked sadly about his brew that has been scattered around the place due to the fighting. "Hey.. uhm, there's another thing, little lady. You see, we were on our way to Dawn's Blossom to deliver the brew when all this fighting broke of. It's all lost now! If you wouldn't mind, maybe you can find some of our Honeybrew barrels that didn't get destroyed. It wouldn't be a complete loss then you know?" Earning another nod from Phenex, who has just learned of places, orders and a brew kind she has never heard of before- well she was on a different continent after all, he jumped up with new enthusiasm, "I'll help you carry the barrels, or did you think they were going to magically fit into your tiny pockets?" he said in an ironic voice, Phenex only shrugged.
The woman was right. The animals in the area are more agressive than usual ones, at least more agressive what the girl believed them to be in their usual state. They partrolled the forest in large numbers, killing everything, even each other. *Whatever the Shado-Pan is exactly, they should definitely hurry up or else the village might get attacked.* Phenex frowned, while the first tiger turned to look at her. With an intiminating growl it jumped at her, it's claws pointed out. She rolled to the side in time, signaling the panda-man to stay back and let her do the job. She gripped her daggers tightly, slowly rising a little, her upper body stretched towards the right side, her right leg positioned in a crouching stance to the right, while her left one was elongated to the left where she first hit the ground after evading the beast. The prowler growled again while getting ready to strike again, it's sharp teeth reflecting the few sunrays that made it through the canopy of the otherwise quite dense forest. Once again, it jumped at her, once again, she dodged it. Only this time, Phenex jumped in more of a circle to land behind the beast fast enough she could strike it from behind. And she did. The prowler tried to turn around, which ended up in it only deepening the wound and injuring itself further, after few pathetic tries of eluding Phenex, it accidentaly turned un its back, giving her the opportunity to kill it and not let it suffer any longer at last. Her eyes narrow as more blood got splattered on her, she didn't like it at all. What would the villagers think?
A little after starting her fight against some really aggressiv big cats, the prowlers, and.. rescuing the barrels with an nonestop talking panda-man, who kept telling her about how amaizing Honeybrew was, she found another one of the survivors, an Orc named Gorrok, who whispered to himself about all the dead. Phenex shook him a little to wake him from his mourning session as well. "AH- oh wait.. it's you." His face scrunched up a little, "Ehrm.. yes, no time for mourning. Let us avenge our fallen brethren and claim this land for the Horde!" he said loudly, walking towards the village the blonde pointed at. Phenex believed his behavior to be the epitome of charm and charisma as that friendly orc awakened from his enchanting trance. She couldn't help but admire the orc's eloquent speech about conquering the new land for the Horde, right in front of a native who probably had generations of history tied to that very soil. Oh, the charm of diplomacy! Clearly, the best way to win hearts and minds is to loudly declare your intentions of dominance while completely disregarding the fact that the locals might have a different perspective on 'progress'. "..What?" the bear-man looked at the girl in confusion, earning but only a shrug from her. "Oh.. so that is how your kind motivates itself?" he asked with a frown, this time, she pointed at the back of the orc who was currently wakling into the village. ".. His kind?" she nodded again. It didn't take long, and she found another surviror, another Orc named Shokia, Phenex believed. "What happened?" the woman asked, in shock of what has occured, "Wait.. you're the mute girl? The slave?" her eyes showed only disgust. Phenex knew that neither the woman nor anyone else in the Horde liked her- not that there was anyone on the Alliance either, but did they have to show it like that every time? The blonde pointed at the village with a sigh, as her gaze catched the Goblin Rivett, who was hanging of a parachute stuck in a tree, wiggeling around while some panda lady tried to get him down with a stick and seemed annoyed by his useless bickering. Shokia made her way towards the village in fast pace, while the panda-man got more and more confused by the situation, and Phenex jumped to the Goblin to take him back to the ground. Sending an apologetic glance to the woman, bowing politely before her and pointing at the village once again, so that the Goblin could get there. "You need to seriously rethink your definiton of help lady! You're dangerous with that stick!" Rivett screamed once he had started running towards the meeting point of the Horde, well- running in Goblin-shot-legged speed.
"Your kind is confusing.." the panda man sighed, shaking his head with one hand to support it as they walked into the village to deliver the barrels themselves. The blonde only nodded in agreement, looking at the buildings, the forgein culture these people had. Killing the prawlers has been harder in the physical manner a little, but defenetly not as hard as when she had to think about the possibility that she could be killing her family earlier. Just as she approoached General Nazgrim, the Panda man who gave her the note and another bear man, she realised that she was stepping in on a conversation. "If it is war you mean to bring to our shores, the very land itself will respond to your passions and your violence.." he spoke out harshly, "I do not know what the ultimate consequences will be. Nobody does." Taran Zu shook his head, "You may give these soliders quarter at your discretion but we are not choosing sides." he says, looking at Nazgrim, "This conflict is little more that a race-war," the panda-man's eyes turn to Phenex as he notices her presence, "Their hatred would engulf this land- we will have no part in this." Phenex took out the stuff he gave her earlier, reaching it out for him to take, earning but only a shaking of his head and a gesture that tells her to keep it. "I'm glad you took resposibillity for your actions. Be careful with leaving your negative emotions unchecked, as you have seen, one might be overwhelmed by it." he points out. "I must go- there are others who have landed on our southern shores." The dragonsnake or whatever it was once again appeared as the panda-man flew to his destination, leaving Phenex with Nazgrim, Gorrok and the two other bear people.
As Seregant Gorrok looked around carefully, he frowned slightly. "..These are the only survivors? So be it." He regained his.. enthusiasm once again and looked around once more. "Phenex, Rivett claims to have seen Zin'jun's abandoned ship with the rest of the survivors. That means he's still out there somewhere. We can't leave him behind. Go track him down and bring him back." he ordered, earning a nod from Phenex, watching her back as she gracefully and swiftly made her way to locate the troll.
