❃ MULTIPLE AWARD WINNER ❃ Born in Westfall to a poor family, violet-eyed Idira endures hunger, isolation and abuse at the hands of her cruel father until the dangerous kingpin of a criminal organisation rescues her. As she grows into womanhood, cocooned in wealth and surrounded by violence, she learns her unusual eyes are harbingers of a rare magic she possesses, as old as Azeroth itself, which connects her to a powerful, charismatic mage trapped on another planet. Despite being almost twice her age and separated by an impossible distance, Khadgar captures her heart, though she can only love him in silence. Later driven from Westfall by the arrival of the Legion's vicious demons, she learns of the magical city of Dalaran and of Khadgar's return. Desperate to harness the power she feels growing within her and to meet the man of her visions, she determines to travel to the floating city and learn how to become a mage. But once she arrives, her unusual violet eyes soon cause her to become the object of everyone's scorn--everyone's, that is, except for one. Khadgar. ❃ Awards: Winner. You tried to stop them... and you failed. And so you came to me, nothing remaining of you but rage and determination, and you learned that the things that once tormented you could give you power. Conflict and hatred afflict the world of Azeroth, a disease that has been spreading for generations. Horde and Alliance march to war endlessly, and no accord seems to put an end to the hostilities. Teldrassil has burned. Lordaeron is in ruins. But it has to stop. In this story, Dunris Wolfeye, a powerful orc Shaman, and Argheros Irondawn, a renowned human Paladin, will join their efforts to achieve the unthinkable: to get Horde and Alliance to work together for a common goal. This time, the enemy isn't the Burning Legion, the Old Gods, nor the forces of destruction, but War itself. It will be up to a small faction of heroes, soldiers and civilians alike, to work towards the Embassy project: a dream for a long, lasting and well deserved peace. * * * * * * Author's note: Ambassadors is a fanfiction novel based on my favorite game ever. Take this work as my tribute to Warcraft. * * * * * * Disclaimer: I do NOT own the rights for any Warcraft content. The kaldorei, a race of nocturnal elves, worship the moon. They call her Elune and her priestesses rule as most of the males, druids all, sleep for centuries at a time to buy them all immortality. The beauty of the full moon inspires their healing arts, the half-moon judges, while the new moon deals in secrets and lost knowledge. The Order of Mysteries is one such sect of Elune's shadowed state and it has been led by the Ethala'Aman family since its inception thousands of years ago. While the kaldorei are still immortal, accidents and tragedy may yet take their lives where age and sickness fail. The order's heir in training, Lesara, tries, but she frequently falls short of her mother's high expectations and harsh tactics. While born for the art of shadow, Lesara's heart belongs in the light of healing, rather than secrets, and her mousy ways are ill-suited for her birthright. When her mother returns from war against the demonic Burning Legion, life only grows darker for Lesara. What does a soft-spoken healer do while struggling in the grip of her mother's growing insanity?

Welcome back to Azeroth, champion! Yet, perhaps a different Azeroth than the one you know. I joined World of Warcraft back in Legion and fell in love with the world I adventured in. So, I decided I wanted to write about it. This work of fan fiction is my own continuation of the story after the events of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. I hope that you enjoy adventuring with me. Because of the nature of fan fiction, I of course do not own the rights to any of the properties or characters mentioned in this work of fiction. All properties are primarily owned by Activision Blizzard, Inc. and Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. The intellectual property associated with World of Warcraft and its narrative universe are contained in this work of fiction under fair use due to the nonexistence of monetary gain. This work of fiction does not represent the companies stated above or their employees and any parallels between this work and the narrative within the Shadowlands expansion is purely coincidental (it just means I'm a good guesser and Blizzard should definitely hire me). At the time of writing this, Friday 20th March 2020, Shadowlands has not yet been released.
