Welcome back to Azeroth, champion! Yet, perhaps a different Azeroth than the one you know. I joined World of Warcraft back in Legion and fell in love with the world I adventured in. So, I decided I wanted to write about it. This work of fan fiction is my own continuation of the story after the events of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. I hope that you enjoy adventuring with me. Because of the nature of fan fiction, I of course do not own the rights to any of the properties or characters mentioned in this work of fiction. All properties are primarily owned by Activision Blizzard, Inc. and Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. When an unexplainable corruption spreads throughout Azeroth, the heroes of said world must do their best, with what resources they have, to end it and cure those ailed.

This is the story of Damalia, the young Night Elf girl who wants to become a druid. Druidism is not a popular options for Night Elf girls due to the fact that the profession has traditionally been men only. Only recently have women been allowed to practice the art. Nonetheless, Damalia is strong-willed and persists. She makes a few friends and generally has a good time at school until the day when she is given an impossible mission to fulfill. Will she fail and go home a coward, succeed and be crowned a hero, or die in the process?

The will of the Maker is woven into the very fabric of life itself. Any attempt to grasp at and pull its bare threads holds the potential to tear reality asunder; unmaking all that was, all that is, and all that will be. Existence hinges upon the laws as set forth by the Maker in time immemorial--laws against which the First of the Fallen had rebelled; waging celestial war against destiny itself, attracting to his cause any and all would deny their fate. But it was not to be. He and the closest of his supporters, The Sins, were cast down for their transgressions; their memories erased from the fabric of reality. And yet... their existence had not come to its end. Reality, it seemed, was not the sole dominion of the Maker, whose infallibility had come into question. Fallibility begets weakness. Weakness begets mortality. The Fallen and his Sins had endured erasure from reality. Given the chance, could the same be said for the Maker? Amidst preparations for a second war, the Sin known as Invidia has grown weary of his station. Seeking to elevate himself above both the heavenly and infernal realms, it is not until he crosses the path of an archangel, Azeroth, that he is offered his chance; for Azeroth has looked upon the weaving of reality itself. Azeroth has glimpsed The Arc--the laws upon which existence endures--and so has borne witness to the mind of the Maker; all that is, and all that will be... as well as how to change it. Azeroth himself is changed. Time spent gazing into The Arc has convinced him that the world and humanity have strayed from the Maker's will--fraying the delicate tapestry of reality. Each loosened thread is a danger to the continuation of existence; and they must be clipped, lest they cause a tear which may not be undone. The Maker refuses direct intervention, even as the forces of the Fallen move freely throughout the world. Azeroth has no such restriction. Free from the Maker's sight, he works in the shadow for the glory of the light.

Was wäre gewesen wenn Arthas Menethil, Kronprinz on Lordaeron und Lady Jaina Proudmoore eine Tochter gehabt hätten? Yamme versteht die Welt nicht mehr als ihre Eltern sich plötzlich trennen wollen und als dann auch noch die Seuche über Azeroth hereinfällt und alles zerstört was sie kannte gibt es kaum noch etwas an das sie sich halten kann. Was wird aus einem kleinem Menschenkind, welches sich zwischen Familie und Krieg entscheiden muss? Die Geschichte bassiert auf dem Buch "Arthas Aufstieg des Lichkönigs" und dem Computerspiel "World of Warcraft".

The first and second wars have left Azeroth in ruin, and the former ruler of Stormwind dead. King Terenes Menethil orders the house of nobles to oversee reconstruction of the destroyed city of Stormwind. They hire an esteemed group of engineers and builders - the Stonemasons - led by Edwin Vancleef, to help build the city.

These tales from the many denizens of Azeroth all tell that of the same story, but in a different way

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if no one controlled the behavior of the people of Azeroth? What if everyone could finally develop freely, regardless of any limits and old conflicts? Sylvanas does not allow herself to be asked for long and keeps an ancient promise that was made long before the overwhelming snowstorm. The story was professionally translated by Vlad in cooperation with the Google Translator who was so nice to help Vlad out from time to time. The story is originally written in german.

[story under construction] A calm breeze danced through the leaves of the ancient trees, causing a low howling noise, it flew through the ashes of the broken, burnt house that the young demon hunter once called home. The whole village was in ruins, nobody would believe that once people lived here. The fire of the Legion was so destructive. The surrounding trees were burnt and mere shadows of their former selves. The other trees that survived held the mutilated corpses of the once living kaldorei, killed and defiled by the demons, left there as a warning to the others. Lianna glanced around in horror but her face held no emotions, only a cold disgust and grief. "Thought I would never visit here again, but look at Elune's cruel joke" she muttered angrily at her surrounding before fixing her gaze on the ground again and continued to walk. A small thing fell under her boot, Lianna quickly stops on her tread and looks down, causing her raven strands of hair to slide down and cover her eyes, but her vision were not really needed, as she could sense a strong energy from it. The night elf kneels down to pick it up, but is struck by a painful memory when she discovers what it was... ----- Lianna Evenwhisper, a simple night elf girl living in Ashenvale, in the village of Shelserin, southwest of the Shrine Of Aessina. She had a dream, to be the most powerful druid on Azeroth and to help those in need with her druidic magic. But everything had changed when Shelserin came under the siege of the Burning Legion, killing all those she held dear and burning the village to ground. Driven by rage and sorrow, Lianna chose to join the darker forces of Azeroth. Will she be consumed by the darkness or will she get redemption?
