Tony's POV
It was a slow day at the tower. This happens a lot because, contrary to popular belief, there aren't world threatening attacks happening constantly around the world. But we usually get a mission at least once a week, but Fury hasn't called us in the past 12 days. We even called him to make sure he hadn't died, been attacked or was keeping something from us.
So after 12 days of nothing happening we started to relax (that's a lie, we were all dying for something to happen. At this point we were ready to help an old lady across the street) so imagine our surprise when Nick Fury called us about this villain that's been hiding in a warehouse.
We all suited up as fast as possible and ran to the quintet and flew to the edge of the city.
Peter's POV
I've been looking for this guy for a while now and no matter what I do he always seems to be one step ahead of me. I think I finally got the upper hand though, after I figured out his identity it was pretty easy to track him down.
I swung through the streets of Queen. Honestly this was the second best part of being Spiderman. The first of course is saving people but this, this was perfect. The slight chill of the wind against my mask, the lights across the city. It was beautiful. But no time to get distracted by the wonder that is New York, I have a job to do.
I land silently on the wall of the house and peak through the window. Everyone meet Dr. Rick Hilton (fake name), he was a scientist that worked on genetic altering toxins but was fired as he went too fast and ignored many safety protocols. He started testing on humans though the formula was never intended to be used on them in the first place.
I see him standing with his back to the window, fiddling with a formula on a whiteboard. Behind him is a computer showing the security feed of a warehouse. To my shock I see the avengers blast through a door and walk into an empty room.
Hilton turns around and smiled at the screen. He then taps a button on the keyboard and I watched as the building starts to full with smoke. I watch as the avengers start coughing and collapsing from the toxin.
Hilton just smiles and goes back to work. Probably planning to deal with them later. I climb up to a vent and sneak into the small apartment Hilton was hiding in. I quickly web him up and call the police, and delete the security footage of the warehouse, before swinging over to said warehouse.
When I got there I found all of the Avengers unconscious but something else. The gas has cleared out by now so I can fully see them and they look...smaller? I walk closer and kneel next to Iron Man since he's the closest, and he is missing his facial hair and he looks like a kid. (Their cloths and suits also shrunk to fit them. Don't ask me how I just got lazy.) They must have been hit with some sort of de-aging toxin.
I grab as many as I can carry before swinging off to my safe house. I made it a couple months ago encase I need to hide out for a while, or just be alone when the world is annoying. Not surprisingly it's another warehouse, but it is significantly nicer on the inside. The front room has the living area closest to the door, kitchen and dining room in the far left corner, training area in the far right, and finally lab in the closest right corner. There are also doors that lead to bedrooms for when MJ and Ned come around, along with a couple bathrooms. Since the ceilings are so tall there is also a kind of second floor-loft like area which is where I usually sleep. There is a large bed with a blue couch that pulls out into a bed, and a separate bathroom.
You may be wondering how I payed for all this. Well it's a funny story, so the Avengers have been trying to catch me and bring me in for the past few of months so as a little payback, I hacked into Tony Stark's bank account. Listen, I know that hacking and stealing are bad but the guy's rich, it's not like he's going to notice if a couple thousand go missing.
I lay Cap and Iron Man on the couch upstairs and Black Widow and Scarlet witch down on the bed, and leave to get the other 3.
I swing as fast as I can back to the warehouse where I find Banner, Thor and Hawkeye on the ground. I grab them and swing back to the safe house where I lay them on the large grey/ black couch in the living room. I make one more run to the warehouse to pick up Falcon and the Winter Soldier and put them in Ned's bedroom.
I check on everyone to make sure that no one is injured before I go to the kitchen and start making pizza. They'll probably be pretty hungry when they wake up, and the least I can do is be a good host.
Steve's POV
I wake up to find myself on a couch next to Tony who is sleeping peacefully. Then I notice he's much smaller than he was before. I look at him and then look at me. I suddenly remember what happened but I don't remember how I got here? I looked around and stood up wobbling a little bit but managing to stay up. I walked over to the handrail and looked over the edge to see Bruce, Thor, and Clint all passed out on another couch and Spider-Man in a kitchen chatting with Nat, who must have been the first to wake up, making home made pizza.
I walk down the stairs to the kitchen and am immediately noticed by Nat. "Hey Steve," she said with a small smile.
"Hey Nat," I say back "what's going on? What happened?"
"I'll explain it to everyone later," Spider-Man said. He wore normal cloths over his suit and still had the mask on. "in the meantime we're making pizza, wanna join?" I smiled.
"Sure."
