Chapter 13

"Seems like I ran into you guys again." Shawn said, and let out a laugh. "But this time, there won't be any mercy for both of you."

John inhaled, and slowly got in front of Frostina trying to hide the fear he had inside him.

"What do you want now?" He said. "Came back to hurt us more?"

Shawn gripped tightly onto his chain.

"Remember I said they'll be a next time," He said. "And there will be no mercy? Well, this is the time. I recommend you tell your girl to run. Unless you want her to get hurt again but even worse.."

John turned to Frostina.

"You can run if you want to," he said. "But if you feel the need to stay here, you can. In case you have something you wanna do to him."

Frostina stared at him for a while, then turned back to Shawn.

"Don't think you can just hurt me and get away with it." She said. "Your chains caused me to get a pretty nasty looking scar on my arm."

Shawn smiled. "Even with that nasty looking scar, you're still looking pretty as ever."

He swung his chain around.

"John, you're looking like you want to fight me." He said. "Why don't you put all that extra energy to good use."

He vanished, then spawned right behind John, meaning he could move very fast.

Shawn swung his chain at him, and John ducked, before the chain could smack him in the head.

Shawn held up his hand, and chains came spinning out of his palm.

"This is gonna get painful." He said, and swung his chains at John. This time there were multiple chains, so John had trouble avoiding them.

One hit him in the arm, sending a little blood dripping from it.

"Him and his annoying chains.." John said. "I need to do something besides dodge, but how..?"

John tightened both of his fists, and they started to shake violently.

"When he comes in for a attack, I'll punch him in the face." John thought. "If that doesn't work, I don't know what to do.."

Frostina stood there, getting ready for whatever she was about to do.

She tightened her hand, and her hand froze.

She held her hand towards where John and Frostina were, cold wind blew around her hand, the ice grew bigger, and sharp shards of ice went flying out of her hand, heading towards Shawn's way.

He quickly pulled out his chain, and blocked most of the ice shards.

Some of the ice shards hit some nearby trees, and some of them hit him in the leg.

But he didn't even reach to the pain. He just turned to Frostina and grinned.

"Oh that was pretty good, girlie." He said. "But why don't you stay out of my way?"

He swung a chain at her, and it wrapped around her waist.

"Frosty!!" John shouted.

Shawn let go out the chain that was wrapped around her and she fell to the ground.

"I'm fine John.." Frostina said. "Don't focus on me...focus on him."

John turned to Shawn.

Shawn smiled. "Come on John.." he said. "You have so much energy stored inside of you, yet you can even land a hit on me."
