Stopping I see wear at an airport. Stepping out I face Nick

"Why are we at an airport?"

"We are going to New Mexico. Our head courter is there."Nick says

"No one ever told me that wear leaving the country!"i yell

"If we did then you wouldn't have come"

"Give me a minute to call Tony"I sigh

(Tony, Emma)

"Hey Tony, so I'm leaving the country for this job"

"What!"

"Yea, so I guess I won't be home"

"They didn't say anything about going out of the country!!!!"

"I know they says cause I wouldn't have agreed. So I'll see you when I get back. I'll call you every time I have a chance alright"

"You better, I'll miss you Em please be safe ok"

"I will, bye Tony"

"Bye Em"

Hanging up I walk pass Nick and Clint and head towards the plane. Can't believe they didn't tell me this. Sitting down as far away from them and go on my tablet and try to figure out this cube. It looks stable from here. Yes I hacked into their files and all. Hours passed and I still got nothing but problems that don't match or add up. Turning off my tablet I take my glasses off and look out the window and fall asleep.

********Time Laps*********

Waking up to someone shaking me awake. I look up an it's Nick. Sighing I get up and get my bag. Walking off the plane the hotness hits me right away. Looking around I see wear surrounded by nothing but desert. Following Nick, Clint is behind me looking around like a hawk. This hole base is metal and gray. It looks so dull and cage up. Stepping into a lab I look around. The cube is in the middle with computers on the left side of the wall, Scientist running around like headless chickens. I spot Professor Selvig on a computer typing away.

"Professor Selvig Id like you to meet Professor Emma" Nick calls out while walking towards him. Since when was I a Professor.

"Hi it's a pleasure to meet you Professor Selvig"i say shaking his hand

"The pleasures all mine. I've read your work an it's amazing! I've always wanted to meet you" Selvig says

"Same goes to you on the work"

"Ok I'll be leaving you two working on the cube. Hawk Eye will be guarding you two since your both really well known scientists. If anything goes wrong call right away"Furry explains

"Ok"

"Alright"

Selvig and I both say. Getting to work we study how it's energy speeds up and slows down rapidly. Working for hours we head out for lunch. Both talking about our work and the cube, with Hawk Eye behind us. Graving lunch I get a sandwich, bag of Lays, water bottle and a cup of fruit. Sitting down we eat peacefully.

"So are you married or do you have a boyfriend Professor Emma"Selvig ask

"Please call me Emma or Em. And well I have a boyfriend you might know him, he's Tony Stark"

"Oh yes I do know him. He's a lucky man to have someone smart as you beside him"he laughs

"Haha that's what I say all the time"

We talk some more till our pagers start beeping like crazy. Looking at mine it says the cube is misbehaving. Looking at one another we both run towards the room. The cube keeps shooting out energy like crazy. Running towards the machine we try calm it down

"What's going on with the cube professors!"Nick yells

"We don't know!"Selvig yells back

"It's misbehave, like it's doing everything on its own." I call out

"Misbehaving? How"Nick ask

"We don't know"i yell

Suddenly theirs and explosion. I get thrown back into a wall and Nick lands next to me. A guy with green and gold armor with a horn helmet on comes threw. Looking around I see Selvig close to the guy. Standing up Nick helps out.

"I'd like to have back what you have stolen from me"he says

"Nothing here is yours. It belongs to the government"Nick says

"Not true. Now hand it over, we can do it the easy way or the hard way"

Graving the cube Nick puts in a suit case and begins to walk out slowly.

"The hard way it is"the guy says

Suddenly he grabs Selvig and points his scepter at his heart. His eyes turn blue then go back. Strain wide eye I see the guy command Selvig to stay. Clint goes for an attack but the same thing happens to him. Walking backwards I try to find an exit. Turning around I see and agent talk to Nick

"Sir the building is going to collapse on its self" the agent rushes out

"Evacuate now!" Nick orders

"Hawk Eye get me the other Professor she'll be a great help" The guy who's name is Loki says

Hearing this I'm frozen in place. Looking around I see Nick with panic in his eyes. He's to far to take me to safety and Loki is a few feet away with Clint. Not taking my eyes off of Nick I see him moth the words 'run toward me' nodding slightly I prepare to run. Hearing footsteps behind me I bolt towards Nick. Turning to look at Clint I see he's about to shoot an arrow. Ducking behind a table the arrow hits the table. Getting up I start to run again. Finally reaching Nick we run out the building into a black SUV and drive off. Suddenly something lands on the roof and they open it. Looking up I see its Loki. He knocks Nick out and grabs the cube. Graving my gun, yes I know how to use one, I start to shoot. He gets into the car next to us and drives off.

"We lost him"i tell the agent name Maria

"I know"she says back

Looking down I see I'm bleeding threw my shirt. Pulling it up I have a deep cut on my stomach and I'm also bleeding from my nose and forehead. Great, Tony's gonna kill me. With that I black out hearing my phone ring like crazy.
