Marlo guided him into a small bar. The wall in the back was covered in mirrors from floor to ceiling, making the place seem twice as big as it actually was. On the left was a bar with shelves with drinks lined up against the ceiling.

Charles asked her what she wanted to drink and she just smiled at him and shrugged. He shook his head as he grinned and went on his way to the bar. The music was blasting and people bumped into him constantly. He could feel the bass trembling in his heart. He ordered two caipirinha's, not wanting to start mixing the cocktails from the cocktail bar with beer or wine. He payed the bartender and slowly made his way back through the swaying crowd, looking for Marlo.

He stopped in his tracks for a second when he spotted her. She had taken off her white jacket and she was now only wearing her velvet dark brown slip dress. Charles couldn't keep his eyes off of her, he was completely mesmerised. The dress hugged her soft curves as she moved around. Her blonde, softly waving hair bounced up and down as she swayed to the music. She had her eyes closed and seemed to be consumed by the beat. The bar was dark, but the lights flickered blue and red and reflected on her hair and made her dress shimmer gold. It was like she was all he could see. He knew there were a lot of people around, but she was the only one with such a presence. Charles just had to look at her. It was as if his eyes were magnetic and they were pulled to her. He didn't want to stop looking, but even if he had, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to pull his eyes away.

Marlo suddenly opened her light blue eyes, still dancing. They immediately locked with his, and she gestured with her hand for him to come over. As he did as she asked, a new song started playing. A steady beat joined his heartbeat as he made his way over to Marlo and he handed her her drink.

I see the moon

Oh, when you're looking at the sun

I'm not a fool

Not a fool

No, you are not fooling anyone

Normally Charles would've felt awkward: he wasn't someone to just let go in a group of strangers, where everyone could see him. Part of that was because he was usually haunted by paparazzi. He was never completely at ease because someone seemed to always be watching him. However, tonight the alcohol had made him feel quite calm and it showed: he started to dance, trying not to spill his drink while doing so. Marlo looked at him and had the biggest smile on her face.

When you're gone

Oh baby, all the lights go out

Thinking oh that, baby, I was wrong

I was wrong

I was wrong

Come back to me, baby

We can work this out

Oh baby, come on, let me get to know ya

Just another chance, so that I can show

That I won't let you down, and run

No, I won't let you down, and run

'Cause, I could be the one
