Barney was making something to eat, pancakes with whipped cream and sprinkles to be specific, when Pugsley came waddling up with a concerned look on his face. "Uhh... Barney, have you seen Courtney lately? She said she would show me some cool demon tricks..." Barney stopped mid brunch and thought for a moment before gulping and replying to his puggy friend. "No... I don't think I have. Not even at work, or in the trash." This response gained an even sadder face from Pugsley, which in turn made Barney sad and worried. "Maybe it's just a lazy day for her? Like that one time she was especially homesick and sat in a chair all day." Pugsley gasped and smiled, a little light bulb popping in his head. "What if we do a surprise party for her! I'm sure she would really like that." Pugsley puffed out his chest with this monumental idea. "I'm not so sure. Courtney doesn't really seem like the type to like a surprise party.. Or party in general" Barney looked down at Pugsley and saw the most saddest of puggy faces. Big teary eyes and a tiny little frown. Sigh "Ok fine, well throw a surprise party for Courtney..." "Yes!" Pugsley jumped up excitedly. "Let's go get some supplies.. Right after I'm done eating... " Barney said, patting to a chair next to him for Pugsley to sit and eat with him.
