Eren whistled as he unlocked the door to his office- he had to balance his coffee on his clipboard but managed to twist the knob and let himself in. He listened as the door shut behind him, then threw his papers on his desk, along with his jacket. It was his fifth day at his new job, a psychiatrist at the state prison. He'd been nervous on the first day; but it wasn't half bad. All of the inmates he had spoken to seemed well mannered and harmless, most were in for smaller crimes, like burglary or assault; nothing too serious. Today though, Eren had gotten news that he would be dealing with someone a bit more intense than his usuals.

Eren wasn't given a name, all he was told was to watch out for any signs of the man getting irritated or hostile, and to keep his walkie talkie close by. He sighed as he sat down, placing his cup of coffee next to his papers. He shuffled through them and began to put them in their correct files. The bell buzzed once, making Eren jump in his chair, but the man soon calmed after realizing it was just breakfast time.

Eren booted up his computer and took a swig of his coffee, looking at the photos on his desk, smiling. There was one with his parents, before his mother had passed away. Another with his closest friend, a girl named Mikasa that he'd met in university. The last photo was of him and his childhood best friend, way back when they were in high school. Eren sighed again, looking away from the last photo and blinking away the tears that had started forming in the corners of his eyes. He logged on to the computer and opened some documents that he'd been working on last night, but was soon interrupted by a loud knock on the door.

"Come in!" Eren chirped, and he smiled at the guard when the door was opened. "How are you?" Eren asked, and the guard shrugged, then pushed a short man into the room.

"Remember what they told you." The guard huffed and closed the door when Eren nodded.

"You can take a seat." Eren smiled at the man who had his head down. The raven haired man didn't look up, but walked forward and took a seat. He threw the file he was holding on the table, and that's when Eren noticed he was handcuffed. Eren thought it was odd- none of this other patients had been cuffed when they were with him.

Eren picked up the file. "Do you have any questions for me before we get started?" He asked the man, and opened the folder.

Before the man could speak, Eren's eyes went wide and the papers fell out of his hands. He frantically searched for the identification paper again, and he felt sick to his stomach when he read the name over and over again.
