"Levi Ackerman?" Eren's voice shook just like his hands did, and the man sitting across from him finally looked up. It was Levi alright, Eren knew that for sure.

"Is there a problem?" Levi spoke and Eren shivered. His voice sent a shiver down Eren's spine; he thought he'd never hear it again.

"T-there's no problem, don't worry." Eren forced a smile and Levi stared him down. Eren felt sweat dripping down his forehead, and he wiped at it with the back of his sleeve.

"Do you find it hot in here?" Levi asked, and Eren nodded his head frantically while he chuckled and turned in his chair to open the window behind him. Eren took a breath while he wasn't facing Levi, then turned back to his desk.

"You've got a long sentence." Eren noted, and Levi blinked. Though his hands still shook, Eren had calmed down a bit. He was supposed to be dead, it didn't matter if Levi had any suspicions on who he was, Eren Jeager was dead. Eren Jeager is dead.

"Well, is there anything that's been bothering you lately? Anything you'd like to start with?" Eren prodded, and Levi sighed.

"Why am I here?" Eren bit his lip, he remembered Levi was always blunt and a bit too harsh.

"Well, they want me to do a psych analysis on you." Eren answered. He knew Levi liked hearing the truth right away, Levi didn't like being lied to. Levi nodded, and Eren offered a sympathetic smile. "It's only because you're being put back in general population, we analyze everyone that's come from the SHU."

"Well, can you do the test so I can leave? I don't like being treated like a child." Levi's voice was bothering Eren, it sounded so familiar but so foreign at the same time.

"I don't mean to make you feel childish, sorry. Would you like me to just ask you the questions? Answering honestly would be of best benefit to you." Levi nodded, and Eren looked through the papers on his desk till he found what he was looking for. "How was your time being alone in the SHU?"

"It was fine, I've read lots of books." Eren nodded, then wrote something down on the paper.

"Do you want to go back to general population?" Eren asked, and Levi frowned.

"Not particularly, but I won't complain." Levi said, and Eren wrote another note.

"What've you felt emotionally since you've been here?"Eren played with his pen, trying to distract Levi from looking at him too much.

"I've seem to become somewhat of a anhedonic, I suppose. I've been very bored." Eren raised his eyebrows.

"That doesn't exactly answer my question, but would you care to elaborate?" Eren tapped his pencil on his coffee cup.

"If you've read my file you can see that I've been accused of many crimes, I think I'm most known for murder though. Ever since the case that got me sent to jail I've been unable to find the joy in doing bad." Levi leaned back in his chair and put his hands in his lap.

"Have you done anything bad recently?" Eren asked, and Levi nodded.

"Before they put me in the SHU, I managed to convince a schizo to attack some man who'd been unjustifiably rude to me, but when they took him to the morgue I had no feeling of joy, or accomplishment. I felt empty. I feel empty."

"When did this empty feeling start?" Eren asked, with his hand resting awfully close to his walkie talkie.

"Right after I killed that kid." Levi's eyebrows furrowed, and he lowered his head again. His fists clenched and Eren panicked, his hand darting to grab the walkie talkie. He pressed a button and the guard came in the room not soon after.

"Is everything okay in here?" He looked at Eren, who nodded.

"Our time is up for today." Eren said to Levi, who nodded and stood.

"What's your name?" Levi asked Eren as the guard grabbed his arm.

"I'm sorry Levi, this is all the time we have for today." Eren repeated, and Levi stared at the brunette till the guard kicked his leg, forcing him to move. The door shut behind the pair and Eren slumped over his desk, and the tears he'd fought to hold back finally fell. Eren stayed like this for a while, silently crying into his arm till the lunch bell rang.
