"come on let's sing something" alex says, pulling me by my hand to the microphone. "ok i know what to do" i tell him, before turning and whispering to luca the song.
"we have more people up for karaoke!" alfie says into the microphone before giving it to me. "ok every single one of you, stream this song right now by this man right here." i say as the song starts playing.
alex starts laughing when he's realised what i've done. he takes the mic and begins singing his song, "how can you miss someone you've never met, cause i need you now and i don't know you yet, but can you find me soon cause i'm in my head. yeah i need you now and i don't know you yet".
he finishes the first verse and chorus and then looks at me. "take it away miss mcrae" he says, giving me the microphone.
"how can you miss someone you've never seen, tell me are you eyes brown, blue or green. and do you like it with sugar or cream. or do you take it straight just like me"
both of us decide to sing the next part, harmonising each other's vocals together. i look around at everyone watching us, meeting johnny's eyes and smiling at him. and of course findlay is there twerking like always.
"yeah lately it's been hard, the they're selling me for parts. and i don't wanna be modern art, but i only got half a heart to give to you, and i hope it's enough"
once we finish the song we both start laughing and alex hugs me tight. "that sounded great you know, you should sing my songs more often" he says, giving me a small high five.
we both walk off to everyone else, johnny kissing me as soon as i get to him. "you're so fucking beautiful" he says, making me blush a little. "stop" i say, uncontrollably smiling. i honestly don't think i've been this happy or comfortable with someone before
"am i making you blush" he says, laughing and poking my cheek which once again turns a shade of red. i look down at my feet, hiding my face and shaking my head. but johnny puts his hand under my chin and lifts it up, kissing me multiple times.
"be my girlfriend" he says, pecking my lips again and again. "already?" i ask, he nods instantly.
"sure, why not" i say, trying to act cool about it. he laughs and pulls me into him, hugging me tightly.
"sorry to interrupt love birds but we need to go, it's getting very late" findlay says, coming over to me with alex and jamie. i look at johnny who sticks his bottom lip out with a fake sad expression. "i'll see you tomorrow" i say trying to reassure him, running my hand in his hair and pecking his cheek.
"i'm waking you up tomorrow morning" he says, smiling and kissing me once last time. "bye beautiful" he says, as i walk away with my friends.
we head back into my apartment and i lock the door behind me.
i sit down on the sofa and smile to myself, "hey smiley, where we all sleeping?" fin asks, collapsing down onto my lap, almost squashing me.
"you and jamie spare room, alex sofa if that's alright" i say, and they all nod happily. "ok i'm going to bed" i tell them disappearing into my bedroom. what a crazy night that was.
// morning
i hear my bedroom door creak open and quiet footsteps coming closer and closer to me. my bed sinks down on my right and a body climbs in next to me. "good morning baby" i hear. i flutter open my eyes slowly, meeting johnny's blue ones.
"hi" i say, smiling at him. he leans over me and kisses every part of my face a couple of times and then lies down pulling me into him. i rest my head on his chest and close my eyes again, still exhausted even though it's not even that early anymore.
"are my friends still here?" i ask, wondering if he'd seen them when he came in. "alex is gone, findlay and jamie are watching something in your living room" he explains to me, placing a kiss on the top of my head.
"okay" i say, relaxing again, feeling his chest rise and fall.
"shall we do something today, go for a drive somewhere. find something new?" he asks.
"yeah that sounds nice" i say. he plays with my hair for a little while as we lay in my bed for at least another half an hour before deciding that i definitely need to get up.
"i'm going to shower and get ready quickly" i tell him as he nods and walks out to join findlay.
