(Oliver's POV)

Soon the bell rang, and I started packing up my things. Before I knew it, the guy staring at me quickly walked past me and out the door. What was his deal? I think to myself.

" Hey, Miles who was that guy by the window with the necklace?' I ask him as we pack up our things. " Oh, him? he's James Stone his father is the principal," he said zipping up his book bag.

James Stone, why he would be looking at me? I think to myself as I walk out of the room. The hallway is crowded and people talking and walking back and forth. As I walk down to my next class I see Harper put her things in her locker.

" Harper!" I call out to her as I walk to her. " Hey, nice outfit" she compliments me looking for something "How was class? make any new friends?' She teased. " No, I didn't..." I get a bit close to her "Who knows who's a wolf here" I whisper to her. She nods as she digs into her bag looking for something. " You know you have to make a friend Oliver; we are supposed to blend in" she replies pulling out a pencil " I know we are but I'm not sure who to trust" I reply.

" You trust me, and everyone else you pretend" she states with a smile. Soon the bell rang and it was time to go to the second period.

Throughout the day everything seemed normal. No one out of the ordinary seemed out of place. If there are wolves here they aren't making themselves noticed very easily.

After 3rd period it was finally lunch time. In the hallway I spot Harper. " so see anything yet?" I ask in a low tone. " no it's like they don't exist but they have to be here my parents say they are, we just have to keep a lookout" she replies walking into the cafeteria.

Inside everyone is talking and walking around. I look around and by the looks of it, you can see who're the popular people.

In the middle of the room, I saw a group of older teenagers. One of the boys seemed to be the popular one. He is a bit tall with black hair... and a lot of mussels. He kinda looked like James Stone. He was talking to a pretty girl to his left. She seemed smart but was wearing high heels. They must be seniors.

I tapped Harper on the shoulder while we slowly walked in the line to grab lunch " Hey who are those people in the middle?" I pointed. She quickly looked then rolled her eyes and turned back around " That's Finn and his girlfriend Bella they are kinda on an on-off thing from what I can see since I got here.. they run the place around here". We slowly move in the line to grab our trays "Do you think he's a wolf?" I reply picking up a milk carton. " I'm not sure, I asked around about their family and his uncle is the principal of the school," she says quickly before picking her food. So that's why they look alike a little bit I think to myself.

After a few minutes of eating Harper explains who might know where the wolves are. " his family works everywhere, and kinda rich" she says taking a sip of juice. " why is that important?" I ask "Well it's important because they might know who the werewolves are or if it's them". After we talked about something else and continued eating a weird feeling was coming over me the hairs on the back of my neck stood up like someone was watching me.  But looking around I didn't notice anyone looking at me. After a few moments, the feeling went away and went back to our conversation of laughing a talking bout random stuff. Soon someone quickly burst into the cafeteria yelling. " Wolf! Wolf! There's a wolf outside the school! By the field!" he screamed scared. I look at Harper and she nods knowing that it might be a werewolf. " there's a wolf! Right out there" the kid continues to yell while pointing to the window that faces the field. Everyone rushes to the window to see if what he is saying is true. Some people were starting to get scared of the wolf eating them.

A few teachers were trying to calm the crowd of kids against the window and stop people from going outside. " well I guess we know there are wolves here" I tell Harper who was smiling. A few minutes go by and the principal walks into the room with a megaphone. He was taller then most people in the room and had a gray suit on and pepper hair. I can see the resemblance James had with him.  " Ladies and Gentlemen!" everyone stopped and looked at him for a moment "If you're not in a seat when I count to ten I will be putting you in for detention for not following directions!" he yelled at the crowd. By the time he counted to seven, everyone was in a chair. " Now that I have everyone's attention, everyone needs to calm down, there's no need to worry about any wolf! You all know we live near the woods and should remind you that we are in wolf country! you all may go back to your class, no one is in danger" he says calmly with the megaphone so that everyone can hear him. " you'll all dismiss to go to class early or take a few extra moments to calm down" he finally states before he continued to talk about emergencies . " perfect! we can go check out where that kid saw it" Harper whispered to me.

After the principal was done talking everyone calmly got up to head to their lockers. But me and Harper wanted to go out to see what happened to the wolf. On the way out of the cafeteria, I noticed the principal talking to that girl and her brother who took me on a tour of that place. I wonder why he was talking to them.
