"Ilang buwan na rin pala tayong hindi nagkikita, Angel."
Risa and Angel, the Psychology Associate Dean, has decided to go to SM Fairview together just to grab dinner and buy things from the National Bookstore.
"Naging busy nung naging Associate Dean ako sorry, couldn't catch up with you. Pero at least ngayon pwede na, diba?" Angel said.
The two have been long friends ever since Risa transferred to Ateneo. Angel, Mark and Risa were the first ones to be friends, for 9 years now.
Angel was only a Full Time Professor before, not until she was promoted to being a Associate Dean of Psychology in Ateneo 3 years ago.
"Yeah, at least nagkaroon na tayo ng chance mag hang out ulit." Risa uttered.
The two were just casually walking around the Parkway area of the mall, trying to look for some available restaurant to eat. Eventually, they would pick Boteyju for dinner.
After taking a seat and ordering some food, they continued conversing to catch up with their lives after not seeing each other for months and only talking to each other by chat.
"So anong pinagkakaabalahan mo ngayon? Kumusta na yung Prof. Robredo?"
Risa has introduced Angel to Leni before but it was just a quick and awkward introduction so it didn't took long. But Angel definitely knows that Leni has something for Risa for quite some time now.
But since she doesn't really want to be called 'delusional' about it, she kept quiet and kept it to herself.
But there was this one time when Angel saw the two walking while talking to each other, observing every move that Leni makes with Risa, and immediately getting the sense that Leni is in love with Risa.
"Oh she's alright. She's just catching up with someone lang," Risa's answer, "Thought you guys were always going home together. Kala ko girlfriend mo na siya?," Angel added.
Risa looked at Angel to the eyes after that, "Ah, no, we're just friends." she said.
Angel made a scoff after that, "Friends? Hindi kapani paniwala. Best friends, oo. Friends with benefits. You guys get along together assuredly," this making the History Dean widen her eyes.
"Anong friends with benefits ka d'yan? Wala nga kaming label, ni hindi nga nalagyan once." Risa intoned. Pero is that considerable?
The waiter then placed two water glass in front of the two as the two continued conversing, Risa grabbing her own after and drinking from it.
"But have you considered telling her that you love her? You told me naman before na mahal mo siya nung nagkausap ulit tayo through chats," Angel mentioned.

So, have you found someone na ba?
Therisa
Actually, do you remember the Economics Associate Dean I introduced to you before?
Angel
Yeah? What's up?
Therisa
I think I fell for her. I feel that lingering love for her.
Risa places the glass down above the table again before proceeding to answer, "No, still scared. But I might sooner, hindi ko na kinakayang itago pa eh," her response.
Angel crosses her arms as she lean her back to her chair, "Then go for it, wala namang mangyayaring masama kung umamin ka. Baka nga nagaantayan lang kayo kung sinong mag f-first move, kaya unahan mo na."
