- Tengu City, 2 Years After That -
- Meeting -

It is a nice monday morning, birds were heard chirping as they greet the sun that shone light upon the globe. The morning breeze was heard as it rustles up the leaves of the trees that lines the sidewalks. Though some may say this day is by far the worst day of the week. Clinging on their fantasy on living the same day that is yesterday. Students were seen walking along the sidewalks making their way to their schools while cars were seen driving by.

On a peaceful neighborhood was a small home of three individuals. A blue haired girl is seen in the kitchen making breakfast while white furred dog watches her. She was humming to herself as she cooks then she started to dance as she makes their meal and lunch boxes. The dog was happily barking along with one of his adopters while he wags his tail.

The girl giggles at their dog's excitement and looks at him. Reaching for something in one of the cabinets, she pulls out a bag of treats for the dog.

Shiori: Nix you know what to do~

Dog: Arf!

Then it immediately bolted out of the kitchen while she giggles again and went back to preparing their meal. Meanwhile, the dog runs up the stairs while It's tongue dangling from it's mouth. On the second floor of the house it went and stops at the front of a door.

Taking it's breath then it entered the room through the dog door installed on it. The room was dark, no light from the outside managed to pierce through the curtains that blocked it. It then went to ends of the curtains and started pulling it away to let light come through. It jumps up on the bed and started licking the person asleep.

Nix: *lick* *lick* *lick*

???: I'm up... I'm up....

A tired voice was heard and the boy sat up on his bed looking at Nix while rubbing his eye. He yawns then started petting the dogs head.

Yukari: Jeez, do you have to wake me up this way?

Nix: Woof!

Yukari: Well, here's your treat.

He said pulling out a treat from the cabinet beside his bed and feed it to his dog. He ruffles Nix's fur and gave him a big hug. Then Nix ran down stairs again. The boy sighs then got up from his bed and prepared for the day.

Currently, the two were walking together making their way to school. Sadly, they both enrolled into different schools. Shiori is enrolled to Rindouji All-Girls Private Highschool while Yukari is enrolled to Raizen Highschool. Though it didn't bother them in the slightest, this just makes walking home together much more meaningful for them.

Anyways, the two were having an argument between them. Onlookers thought it was just a lover's quarrel but it's far from it. They were arguing about Yukari's inability to cook anything.

Yukari: I told you, I could make a divine dish! You just have to trust me!

Shiori: Not gonna happen, Yuka. Last time I did, you almost burned down the kitchen and served me literal charcoal.

Then they both started thinking back on it. Yukari wanted to bake Shiori a cake for her birthday. So he searches through the piles of recipe book that Shiori has but struggles to find a perfect one for her.
