Chapter 3

We walk into the mall and get stormed. They finely go away and we walk in to American Eagle. Carrie helps me pick out cloths and get a lot of cloths. Next, Boot Barn. I get 3 pairs of boots. "Where do you want to go next?" She asks. "Scheel," I say. "Lets go!" She says. I get a lot of Minnesota Wild gear. We pull into the driveway. "Go put on all of your Wild gear and let's watch what you father will do," her face turns white when she realized what she said. "Yeah let's go see what dad will do," I say. I bolt in and put all of it on. "Hey mom how do I look," as I dance around. Her face has a look of pride, "You look amazing honey!" Carrie says. She has tears running down her face. I don't let go of the hug until Mike pulls in the driveway. I jump in the couch and watch a rerun of the Preds vs. Wild game, Wild has home ice. He walks in when Zach scores a goal. I just up and yell. Mike laughs, "You must be a Preds fan, sweetheart," Sorry dad but no," I laugh. Mike turns off the TV and we have dinner. "So, Ryan play any sports?" Mike asks. "Yes, I play hockey, basketball, soccer, football, softball, track, and lacrosse," I say. "Wow, that's a lot," Mike says. "Sports was the big thing in my old school but I played most of them for a other city because my school did not have them," I say. "Do you like music?" Carrie asks. "Yes I love music, I play guitar, trumpet, and also sing, but I'm not that good," I say shyly. "Oh I'm sure your great," Carrie says with a smile. When we finish we watch a movie. I got to pick, I picked The Heat. We all loved it. "Where do u want to go to school?" Carrie asks. "A place that has all my sports," I say, "and FFA." Carrie and Mike look at my confused. "Its an organization for farmers, I love it I'm in livestock judging for winter CDES," I say. "Sound fun," Mike says. "I'm going to go to bed," I say, "goodnight."

The next morning I wake up to screaming. I run into Carrie's room to find 3 men holding her down. Mike is at practice. They look young about 19, 17, and 16. Then out of no where I feel hands grab me and pin me down. I scream. "Tell her to shut up!" One of the boys yell. I look over at Carrie and he shirt and shorts are off. "Carrie!" I scream. One of the boys slap me. I fell my shirt come off. "Stop," I say quietly. I get hit in the face and black out.
