Louis stared at me with big eyes. He then rolled his eyes. Very compassionate, Louis.

"I'll take her. Stats?"
"Smartest in the house, iq level 51."
"That's average for a 6-year-old."
"But Mrs. Tràs...She's only 3..."
"What?!"
"You know what..? She's mine!" Rosaria screeched. She scooped the baby off her chair, sprinting for the door. The carer cried out. Rosaria ignored her, as she slammed down the door. The baby broke into tears.
"Don't you cry, darling. Mommy's here. You're safe now in my arms.."
"Mo...mmy..?"

I woke up in Louis' arms.
We weren't in the car anymore. I looked down. I looked up. I looked to the sides. Definitely not the car. We were in a luxurious looking room, something that seemed like it came out of a fairytale castle.
"Welcome to your new room. You better get used to it, or else." Loius growled. He dragged me away out of the room, into the hallway and into another room. Wasn't the room he just showed me mine? He tapped a key card onto the keypad and inserted a key into a keyhole just above it. Must be an important room...He entered it cautiously, then signalled to me to enter. I followed him into the room. The room looked somewhat similar to mine, but more messy. One thing caught my eye. There were three photo portraits on a nearby shelf.
One had a family of 5 in it, a mother, father, a little brother and an older sister, along with a boy that looked like Louis. He looks so young and angelic. Why'd he turn out as he is now? How'd he turn out as he is now? The younger brother was obviously Jacob, no one else I know is that pretty and kind. But who was she? She was clearly older, 5 or 6 years older than Louis, making her roughly Summer's age by now. Unlike her brothers, she had bright green eyes, and a brown hair that majority, seemed to be white. It was like her hair colour was slowly, but surely, fading away. I was going to ask Louis about it, but he was also looking at the photo, glumly. So I decided not to ask.
The next one was quite predictable. There was Jacob and Louis, much more their age. In the corner, the date was written by a red pen. The 8th of March, 2048. That was a year ago. They were both smiling. I grinned. So that's what this depressed boy named Louis looks like when he smiles. Seductive. I immediately took out my phone and snapped a quick picture of it, opening my settings app to the Screen Background page.
And the last one had plenty of men and women, all in one room. Everyone was smiling, along with Louis and his whole family. The caption read, 'Crowned forever!'. They were all wearing matching badges, pinned right above their hearts. I squinted. The shape was something similar to a broken crown, with small handwriting carved onto it.
"It says Crowned Crows in the red, and their names in the black." Louis said. I stepped away. Did he notice me paying this much attention to the photos? Did I look desperate?
While off-guard, Louis snatched my phone and turned it on.
"Are you already hopelessly in love with me? I expected it to take at least an hour, especially after just meeting..." He sarcastically added.
"You wish." I teased.
A knock sounded on the door. Louis opened it, to see his parents."Make sure you and Amandra get a good night's sleep. Me and your mother have decided to let you guys get to know each other better. You will be marrying exactly a year from now, and tomorrow will mark the start of your five day date. Everyday for the next five days will involve a good experience for the both of you to feel." His dad said. He was trying to act nice, but his tone told me Louis' mother had not agreed just yet.
"Goodnight sweetie...Goodnight Amy." Louis' mother softly spoke. Her presence gave me a weird sense of comfort, especially compared to her husband. Then they left.
Tired, I collapsed onto the bed, knowing that I had permission to. Louis left, but returned a few minutes later with a cup of coffee.
"You're not sleeping?"
"Not yet, at least."
"Just...climb into bed in an hour.'
"Why do you care?"
"You always wake up at 6am...it's 10pm right now. If you sleep later than 11pm, you'll get seven hours of sleep, or even less. It's not good for you."
"Whatever."
"Please Loui...get a good night's sleep." Wait.
He let out a loud snicker.
"Loui?!"
"I-it was an accident! I d-didn't mean to!" I scrambled for words. As my face heated up, I saw a small smile across his face, accompanied by two very red cheeks.
// Louis' POV //
'She's so cute when she's flustered.' I thought to myself. I watched as she fell asleep in less than five minutes, then spun my chair around to do some work.
I gave up in two minutes.
The thought of a girl sleeping in my bed, one that's not some cum slut my father hired to 'please' me, kept pulling at me. There was a cute chick in my bed...that even after just meeting her, I couldn't resist being near her. But sadly, I can't get soft. I decided to climb in bed, at the very edge opposite Amy. Sleep could help me forget things. And right now, there are some feelings I have to forget. She's going to reject me anyway. It's not worth it. I forced my eyes shut, drifting to a peaceful but concerning sleep.
