At first, Evie thought Auradon is the opposite of the Ilse. You know all sunshine and rainbows.

Well, she's wrong.

Very wrong.

She decided to go to a near market place while classes haven't started. For the last 40 minutes, she got picked on by 2 princesses, a random kid stealing her jewelry and 3 young man throwing rocks at her.

Evie was on a verge of crying when a girl helped her shoo away all 3 young man. "Scram! Have you not learn manners at school!" She shouted.

Evie wiped her clothes as clean as she could. She can't look ugly in front of this girl, imagine if her mother finds out about this! "Um.. thanks" she said.

"No problem! You're Evie right? Nice meeting you,"

"And you are..?" Evie asked.

"Right, where's my manners. Hi, im Alliet. Daughter of Alice."

Evie never seen her since she came to Auradon. "Oh, we must be from the same place then! I'm sorry I never seen you,".

Alliet gave a half-hearted laugh. "It's alright, should we head back together?"

Well, Evie couldn't say no to that. Maybe today is not as bad as she thought it will be.

After the not-so-bad-market day, Evie ( luckily ) manage to reach her class in time. Well, almost in time.

" You're 5 minutes late, Miss Evie" the professor said. "Sorry. You see, I-"

"I don't need to hear your excuses. Go sit beside Doug"

Without another word, Evie walked to the man the professor pointed at. He gave a small wave at her. "You don't have to act all friendly," she said, rolling her eyes.

"Sorry," was all he said.

The class went as usual, until the professor spoke. "Now, we're going to have a mini test next week. Please get ready." The class was immediately filled with groans. "Class dismissed"

Evie went straight away to meet up with Mal, but was stopped by Doug.

"Um, Evie," "What is it?" She asked voice slightly annoyed. "I'm sorry, you have to sit with me. I know you wanted to sit with Chad,"

Evie laughed. "That's it? You wasted my time to say that? Or are you going to ask me to be you're lab partner-"

"Yeah! I want you to be my lab partner. If you like,"

"Well, if you said it earlier I can dismissed you faster. Sorry, but I'm not gonna be partner with someone that looks like you," she said, before frantically walking away.

Mal freezed, spoon falling to her plate. "You declined his offer?" Mal asked. 'that does not sound like Evie'

"Well, he's not even a prince" Evie simply said, munching her salad.

"Don't you think, that's kinda rude," Carlos butted in. "Like, yeah we are technically rude, but that doesn't sound like you,"

"Carlos got a point, E." Mal said. "At least you should apologize to him,"

"Ugh, Auradon is making you all soft. I'm going to go somewhere" she stood up, walking away. Not minding her friends plea to stay.

"What made princess all sour?" Jay asked. "I don't know but I don't like this new Evie, not one bit" Mal replied.

"I don't get it, Alliet. Why are they all so mad at me? I just declined someone, not curse someone!"

"Well, Evie. Maybe Auradon has got the best of them. You've seen in yourself, Auradon is not as pretty as you thought it is,"

"You're right," she groaned. "Thanks for listening to me,"

"Well, that what friends are for. I mean, we are friends, right?" Alliet asked.

"Of course we are" Evie said.

"But Evie, maybe you should apologize to Doug"

"You too?!" Before she got mad, Alliet continued "You treated him badly today. At least try to be nice with him next time?"

She sighed "I'll try"

They continued to chat, talking about Evie's new designs and Alliet shares some facts about the school and how embarrassing Ben was when he was a kid.

Mal furrow her brows. She watched the two from far. ' Didn't Alliet said we shouldn't mess the timeline?'
She decided to take a step closer but was stopped by Alliet eyeing her.

Mal looked at her with wide eyes when she saw Alliet sprinkling some magic while hugging Evie. She looked at Mal, this time with a devilish smirk on her face.

'I got you,' Alliet mouthed.
