Ash Pov:
The two powerful moves clashed with each other, neither backing down. It then end in explosion of colors.
Calem: Synthesis, now!
Florges immediately healed up some of her health. How can I defeat Calem... this Florges is tanky. Then I thought of a way.
Me: Pikachu, use electro-web at the sky then thunderbolt at it.
Pikachu, following my command shot the yellow web above and unleashed his best thunderbolt. Strips of electric then floated down, paralyzing Florges when one of the strips hit her.
Calem: Aromatheraphy!
Florges cleared her paralyse, but still lost a bunch of health.
Calem: Now, use what we've trained for. Charge up your moonblast and toxic at the same time.
Florges charged up the pink energy sphere, but the core of it is dark purple. If this gets to Pikachu, he's surely done for, so we need to do this.
Me: Pikachu! Now, use what we've been training for! Focus all your energy into your thunderbolt and change it to Bolt strike. (I'm just shouting random things that Calem thinks that's it's a improvised version of a thunderbolt.)
Pikachu sweatdropped but did what I said. He pretended to charge real hard and shot the blue streak of lightning at Florges before she can shoot the toxic moonblast. Causing her to faint.
Chloe: Florges is unable to battle, so Ash is the winner!
I ran up to Chloe and hugged her. Although we are in a relationship, we don't want to take things too quick yet, we both know this.
Calem: That's a good battle. Considering that battle lasted at least 3 chapters.
Me: Maybe it's just the author who's too lazy to write it.

Calem: I would like to get stronger, so would you mind if you let me accompany you on your journey?
