I'm scared??/The Rim in The Sky/ Who knew..?

All I could hear was the sound of swooping through the forest away from the flames.

Thompson was very quiet. Usually, we would ask me if I was okay.

I grit my teeth as I feel the pain of the burn on my leg.

Thompson realizes this. He asks me a simple question that is so out of character I almost die on the spot.

" Why the hell did you disappear?" He doesn't look at me. My heart skips a beat at the question. I see his usually red eyes glow pink.

You half gulp knowing either he is mad at me, amused, or angry at who ever set the fire.

I answer lying a little lying a little. I really did not want to tell him the truth.

" Well you see when you left for the fish. A evil dragon demon tried to attack me so i fled."

It was mostly true not a total lie. I told myself.

He still not looking at me, with his pink glowing eyes. He answers.

" Don't lie to me"

Your poor heart, and brain having a hard time processing this makes you think such stupid ideas.

"Omg, does he know the truth !?? Is he gonna eat my soul? Is he angry at me?! No calm down!" I yell at myself in my head.

" Tell me the truth" Thompson says again still not looking at me.

" Mhhh" You say in a quiet voice.

He stops running through the tree tops landing down in a small field.

He puts me down on the ground. I stand up. Still not sure how to answer.

He asks me again. " Tell me the truth! Why did you leave?" He says with voice getting a little mad, his pink eyes still glowing a hole through my soul.

I twitch still now answering. " Well!?" He asks again.

I run words through my head still not sure what to say.

Thompson all of a sudden walks up to me.

*Slap* In that moment I realized. OMG Thompson slapped me!! On top of that it hurts like hell. He used more of his demon strength to make it more of a meaningful lesson.

He yells. As my hand shoots up to the over sized red hand print on my cheek.

" WHY THE HELL DID YOU GO? YOU KNOW IT WAS NOT SAFE, YET YOU STILL LEFT. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH I WAS as WORRIED. DONT TELL ME THAT, THAT WAS THE TRUTH. I CAN SENCE FEAR, AND HESITATION IN YOU AS YOU LIE." He grits his demon fangs. Looking a little scary. Also his pink eye become more of a evil demon.

I start to get scared of his voice, and shiver a little. Is he really gonna a hurt me??

I answer yelling at the top of my lungs. " OKAY OKAY! THE TRUTH IS THAT THE THINGS IN THE PAST THAT YOU, AND YOUR BROTHERS HAVE DONE TO ME WAS GETTING TO ME. I NEEDED TIME TO THINK ALONE. I ALSO KNEW THAT YOU WOULDN'T LET ME SO I LEFT!!"

His eyes widen with surprise. Knowing that this was the reason why she left.

His demon fangs start going away so does his pink glowing eyes. He then says.

" I had no idea that was the reason, I'm sorry... We were just trying to help you. However, you have been a bad girl, and it can't just let that slide by." He stands up, and starts getting closer to me.

Wearing a blank face as he walks to me. I freeze to the ground not able to move becoming kinda scared of him for the first time in my life.

All of a sudden he grabs me and pins my back to a tree that is behind me.
