Sky walked into the building of her apartment—the 4th floor 12th room. Sky decided for the 2nd year she wanted to be in an apartment, not a dorm, so she looked for apartments for weeks and finally found one.Sky didn't know who she was yet, but she was excited to meet her and beyond terrified. She just wanted them to be friends. Sky knew she was on the basketball team, but that was it. She walked into the apartment, dropped her bags, and stared in awe of the place. She closed the door behind her and walked around looking at everything. She went to the rooms, and one of them was moved entirely into it and had Ryan's stuff everywhere. Ryan's room was incredible. Her wall was covered with basketball pictures and NYC stuff, and she had a mini hoop hanging on her closet door and led lights under her bed.
So she went and put her stuff in the empty room. She went to the kitchen and saw a note on the fridge that said Ryan was out getting food for them and would be back soon. Sky smiled at the letter and decided to walk out on the balcony for a little bit. Sky dosed off as she was sitting out looking at the city view for who knows how long. 30 min later:SKY POVThe door opened. I woke up, turned around, and walked inside to see my new roommate. She had long black hair, was super fit, had freckles all over her face, and was beautiful. She smiled and said, "Hey, you must be sky I'm Ryan" she put down the groceries she got and held out her hand for me to shake. I smiled and got up, walking toward her "hey, nice to meet you, roomie" I chuckled and shook her hand as she gave a small chuckle. Ryan went into her room and grabbed her laptop. She came back saying, "I hope you don't mind that I took that room" I responded so quickly, "oh no, you're ok. Both rooms are great." Ryan smiled, sat on the couch, and started working on her computer. I decided to unpack a little, and about thirty minutes later, I smelled food. I went out to the kitchen to see what Ryan was cooking. The smell was intoxicating watching her cook. She looked so beautiful (wait, what am I thinking? I don't like girls). Ryan turned to me and told me to sit at the table while she finished cooking. I couldn't help but stare at her. She looked so cute cooking. I know I didn't know her well, but she was adorable. Ryan snapped me out of my trance, saying, "Sky take a picture; it'll last longer." I chuckled and blushed, hoping she didn't see it. We started eating, and she made Chinese noodles and chicken with dumplings. It was amazing. I didn't expect to live with a chef. We talked about him playing basketball and me cheering but didn't learn much about her. After dinner, we cleaned up, and I went to unpack more this time. Ryan followed me into my room. She grabbed her guitar from her room (she plays guitar...hot)."So, tell me about yourself," She said as she turned her guitar and sat on my bed. I began unpacking my clothes into my drawers with my back to Ryan. "Uh, what do you wanna know?" I asked, glancing back at her before carrying on unpacking, bending over to reach the lower shelves. As I bent over, I could feel Ryans' gaze on me. When I turned around, Ryans' eyes were dark with lust.Snapping out of her trance, Ryan suggested, "Tell me about your hobbies." As I was hanging posters and other stuff on my wall, I answered, "Um... I like art, math, music, and sports." Ryan just replied, "You like math? That's new, but no judgment. It's cool." I decided to ask her what she liked; my hands were shaking I spit out the question.Ryan answered, "I love sports, especially basketball and cooking, hanging out with my friends, and going to the gym, oh and my dog, of course." I looked at her with wide eyes. "I love dogs, and I have a lab at home. I miss her." Ryan smiled. "I love labs. I have two great Danes, and I love them with my whole heart." I smiled; I couldn't help it. She's so adorable.
