After dashing home with a face of tears, (Y/N) had enough of the humilition for one day, yet she still had places to be.

The Casino.

The meeting where that group of ruffians would meet her 'Husband', who would protect herself as well as her precious money. "It'll be over soon, my love." She muttered, kissing her coins that were stuffed away into her pockets. She drops them back in, patting her pockets down, then, she walks over towards the mirror in her room, inspecting herself.

She wore a white blouse, tucked underneath a long red skirt that covered up to her ankles.

"Ah, perfect." She sighed, placing on a pair of glasses to complete the look. She looked at herself in the mirror, "Am I recognizable?" she muttered, reaching over to grab a large floppy hat, placing it atop her head.

"Too much." She mumbled, pushing the hat further down her head, "They won't expect it to be me!" She laughed aloud, throwing her head back in a fit.

Perfect disguise.

She didn't bother to stop laughing until her neighbor banged on her wall.

The woman brought one of her fisted (s/c) hands up to her mouth, coughing into it.

'Composure, composure..', she told herself.

The woman snatched her keys from her desk, dashing out the door and fleeing from her apartment complex.

Freedom, at last.

It was the only word buzzing in her mind as she ran through the busy streets, pushing through the crowd of people to get to her secondary home.

Her eyes widened, her cheeks growing warmer and warmer with each passing second as she looked up at the glowing building before her, the building that got bigger and bigger the closer she ran.

The casino.

A grin broke out on her face, her stomach feeling ticklish, as if she ate feathers and they were now floating about in her stomach.

She clutched her abdomen, staring down in awe, Is this what they call 'butterflies'?

(Y/N), practically a queen in this facility, had no reason to be nervous. No reason at all.

But, maybe it was the fact that someone she knew would be waiting for her. And that someone would be there to walk her back home.

She wouldn't be alone.

So, she stood proud, staring out as she waiting for Loid Forger to greet her at the front.

She waited and waited, watching the sun disappear, and the moon rise up. She waited, even as fancily dressed customers pointed at the woman, mocking at her. Laughing.

But she waited, because, because she truly thought that someone would be there for her.

Someone would wait for her, and someone would car for her.

Just like he did.

She stared out with heavy eyes. Her nose now cold and runny. Her lips were parted as she reminisced about her long lost past, one that she had tried to bury away, and lock within her heart.

But alas, she couldn't. Nor could she move on, from her long long love.

She released a scoff, chuckling to herself. She brought her hand up to her nose, gently rubbing the edge of her nose.

'How could I be such a fool. That he would come here? Oh well, guess everyone gets stood up once in their lives..'

She shook her head at her foolishness, walking into the casino feeling empty.
