"Welcome back, my little Dove."

You look around to find nothing. You're surrounded in unsettling darkness. It's a complete void, but you know that voice.

"It's nice of you to visit."

You can feel his breath against your right ear, and you turn to the right to find nothing,

Your breathing gets heavy, and you feel anxiety course through your veins. Where are you?

Out of the blue, you feel a hand that harshly forces you to look up.

But there's nothing?

You feel unsafe, uneasy about this entire situation. You want out.

You fix your head so that it's no longer looking up, and you see Peter standing there, across from you.

And you gulp.

Because it's the same Peter from your nightmare.

He gives you an unsettling grin and waves, fully extending his arm out and moving each of his fingers separately. He's still eyeless, but he isn't covered in blood anymore.

In fact, his uniform is spotless, sharing the same color as the laboratory walls.

"..Where?"

That's all you can say at this point. You're completely disturbed by this 'Peter' in front of you, and you're afraid that any more talking will cause him to harm you.

You expect him to respond, but he doesn't say anything, smile unchanging.

He suddenly puts a finger in the middle of his face while he's still grinning, in front of his teeth, like he's shushing you, but you aren't saying anything.

"You've been out for a really long time," he says. His voice has an echo, and if you listen carefully, there's another pitch within it.

You furrow your eyebrows in confusion, but Peter gives you no explanation.

He doesn't say anything for a while.

He's just standing there like your Peter did during his shifts at the laboratory: arms to the front, hands connecting.

The longer he stands there, the more uncomfortable the tension gets.

He starts looking around this empty void only to suddenly snap his head towards your direction.

"Why can't you wake up?"

Words are getting stuck in your throat as he just continues to face you. If he had eyes, he'd be examining your terrified form with excitement.

"Wake up, Y/n."

His neck is craning to the left now, and his body is twitching. It's almost as if he's glitching, fading into the black void only to appear seconds later. You don't like this. You're completely frozen in fear. This isn't Peter. It can't be.

A soft, low hum can be heard, but it's gradually increasing in volume. You can't tell which direction it's coming from. It's everywhere, completely overwhelming you. You're hands are shaking.

Your eyes are completely locked onto the Peter in front of you as he keeps craning his neck more and more to the side until it's made a full circle.

You're going to throw up.

Tears are coming down your face as your vision twists even more. You no longer hear the humming. Instead, it's your own blood pounding in your ears.

This isn't real. It can't be real.

He starts walking towards you in a slow, menacing pace.

You're shaking your head no, letting out choked sobs. You try to take a couple steps backward, but something is stopping you from moving.

"Wake up."

You blink, and he's suddenly right there, face to face, centimeters away from you with his stretched neck and mangled skin. His grin is getting wider and wider by the second. Thick, dark red blood is running from his eye holes. He's so close to you, and your entire body is shaking. You don't know what to do.

So you scream.
