After we left the motel, the next day my mother went searching for apartments for us. She ended up finding one so we moved in, although we didn't have much. Grandma came to visit us at the apartment, while me and rose went outside by the creek and found 2 baby kittens aside. We immediately brought them into the house to show mom and she loved them, but grandma wasn't so sure. She was worried about shots, food, and care for them. So we promised to take good care of them, the first thing was to give them milk but we looked in the fridge for some but we didn't have any. And my grandma started to say, see I told you, you have to buy food for these kids and keep your house together. Then my mom started yelling at my grandma because she didn't like being critisized. But my mom then later apologized for her behavior towards her, so me and rose asked can we keep the 2 cats and grandma said oh go ahead.
