The angry Takin proceeds to bash his hooves and horns violently against the door frame, startling Bahbah Lao and Gladys.
"Oh my god, Lahmoo cease this immediately! She kissed me in gratitude. It's nothing more than that. Your head is bleeding and you're breaking my door frame."
Bahbah Lao jumps up, knocking Gladys over onto the floor. He runs over to the distraught Takin, grabs his horns and directs a loving and calming energy at him.
Lahmoo begins to tremble and weep uncontrollably.
Bahbah Lao softly speaks to him, "I think now would be the time for your transformation, my friend."
Lahmoo stares up at Bahbah Lao in relief, as he takes three steps back and begins a dance that appears slightly different than those previously witnessed by Gladys and Lahmoo before.
Bahbah Lao raises his right hand high above his head palm facing downward, and his left hand lowered just at the groin facing upward, opposite the right hand. He rotates the two hands in opposite directions, creating a clear electric blue sphere with what looks like a lightning storm inside of it.
Bahbah Lao works the sphere over around the outer edges of the sphere, as if molding its shape to stabilize it. He then releases the large orb and begins to chant in a strange language; eyes closed, both hands palms facing forward outstretched towards the sphere of lightning.
BahBah Lao's eyes slowly re-open and instead of eyes there is a bright white opening of light in each socket. "Nie ay-ay yo. Nei ay-ay yo. Ho dha eee nay, woh ah meh yo. Nie ay-ay yo. Nei ay-ay yo. Ho dha eee nay, woh ah meh yo."
Gladys and Lahmoo stare at the spectacle in amazement, as the chanting continues while the orb expands larger, floating towards Lahmoo. Lahmoo, now frightened, backs away from the spherical storm that is growing and pulsing before him. More focused on the sphere, unaware of where he's walking, he bumps into the cart tripping backwards over one of it's handles.
The moment Lahmoo falls to the ground, the sphere encases his body. Gladys begins to scream, watching Lahmoo's body convulse and glow with each strike of lightning hitting his shapeshifting body."
"LAAAAHMOOOOO!" Gladys screams as she runs over to his aid, but is immediately repelled and projected backwards from the orb by some invisible force that sends her flying 4 feet backward, landing on her ass in the grass.
Bahbah Lao, still in trance chanting as Lahmoo's body begins to take on a different form. Suddenly, the chanting stops and the lightning sphere bursts like a bubble dropping the body of a brown man beside the cart.
Gladys immediately crawls over to Lahoo to embrace her friend, but instead of an injured Takin lying in the grass beside the cart, there is the body of a tall and slim but muscular naked man of copper skin. His oval shaped head is capped with a cascade of flowing long locks of black and gray hair.
"I guess we're even now", Lahmoo speaks, startling Gladys and in her embarrassment she turns three shades of red; he's caught her staring curiously at the foreskin of his manhood.
Bahbah Lao walks over to the two in the grass. "How are you feeling, my friend?"
"Electric! Alive. Energized, but my head is feeling very light headed and spacey." Lahmoo replies.
"Touch the Earth with your palms, and with each exhale from your breath, see roots sprouting from your hands digging into the soil; grounding you." Bahbah Lao instructs him.
Lahmoo does as he directed, and gradually the spacey feeling subsides.
"Miss Goddess, I apologize for your confusion in believing that you would be WITH me. What DO you see when you look at your friend now?" Bahbah Lao asks.
Gladys looks over at Lahmoo, and the moment their eyes meet there is a burst of energy that slaps their solar plexus, heart chakra, and third eye. Warm streams of bliss overcome the two, as they begin to have flash memories of having been together before and very much in love, in another time and place.
"Lahmoo, is your mate from Lemuria. Your things will remain here at my place as you two work together to build your own home here in my forest. There is no charge, as I do owe him for watching over me some time ago, when I injured myself out here during an ice storm. He kept me warm, and covered while I lay unconscious."
Staring into Lahmoo's eyes, Glady speaks. "Now that you're not all covered in fur, I suppose I must fashion you at least a cloth to cover your nether regions with." She giggles.
"If it would please you to do so, my Goddess, then I will graciously accept it. Thank you." He flashes a broad smile of slightly crowded, overlapping teeth; two of them crooked. Not that it matters to Gladys, because he is otherwise so remarkably beautiful, that the imperfection of his teeth, adds a lovely humble balance to his gorgeous appearance.
"Just as you suggested before, I have found someone both my own age and species. I simply hope that she will have me as my mate." Lahmoo says, reaching for Gladys' hand, and leaning his forehead into touching hers.
Gladys replies, "Yes Moo. There is nothing in this world that would give me greater joy than to walk this life at your side; save perhaps bearing your children."
Bahbah Lao is barely noticed bowing, as he turns and walks back to the cottage giving the happy couple some privacy.
