Monster or Child?

I see nothing but a child

-The day Juliette was born-

It started of as a normal day, Margot was only a few weeks from giving birth to her third, and hopefully last child, she only wanted two but pressure from her mother led to her third baby, both Oliver and Elinor were excited to have another sibling, even though they tried to hide it, Margot always sees the small smiles whenever they are looking at the scans, however no one could prepare the Fairmont family of what was to come.

"Your mother gave me an earful today" Sebastian says as he walks through the door to find his wife reading, since getting pregnant she does it alot to take her minds of things.

"About what? Last time I checked we are giving her everything she wants, another grandchild" Margot says rolling her eyes, her mother can be alot but she usually has their best interests at heart, even if it may not seem it.

"Don't worry, it's not about us, for once. Her and the council brought in the vampire responsible for turning so many humans and got rid of him, but the mess he left behind is pissing her off, he turned far to many humans to go unnoticed, and 3 of them ended up being omegas. The council has voted to train the alpha vampires but to kill the omega ones" Sebastian says taking a seat and pouring himself a drink.

"I don't blame them, omega vampires offer nothing, they are weak, useless and cause to much trouble with having to feed for often. At least our family isn't tainted with omegas" Margot replies to him setting her book down, her lower stomach beginning to ache.

"Tell me about it, we don't need to be shunned by the vampire community or the council" He replies when he notices his wife in pain "Are you okay"

"No.... I think the baby is coming"

And the baby did come, and instead of the joyful and happy day it was meant to be, it turned dark very fast.

"This has to be some kind of joke!" Sebastian yelled pacing back and fourth, it had only been twenty minutes since Margot had given birth to Juliette Fairmont, and within them twenty minutes had they discovered something they didn't believe that could happen, a omega legacy.

"Trust me, I am just as shocked and angry as you, but what are we suppose to do, everyone knows we are having a baby and legacy vampires don't lose their baby's in a miscarriage" Margot says shaking her head and looks at the small bundle in disgust.

"We are gonna have to hide the truth, cover her in our scent so they can't smell the disgusting omega scent and raise her as an alpha, I will not be seen as a failure." He says not wanting to even be near his own child.

Margot nods in agreement.

6 years later

Talia burns looks at her husband as they quietly approach the home before them that houses monsters. They had gotten a tip from the Guild that a legacy family lies within and to take them out, and that is exactly what they are going to do. Their children, Apollo, Theo and their youngest Calliope are back home fast asleep, they are all showing great features of a great hunter already, with daily training, Calliope seems to be the most promising.

"Alright so we go on, kill the bloodsuckers, and get out, hopefully as we are doing it while they are asleep we will have the advantaged" Jack says to his wife, killing a legacy family would make them high in the guild's books.

Talia nods her head "Lets get this over with, I want to get back to our children as soon as possible" With that, they entered the house, however it was dark, very dark, with no noise, it almost seemed abandoned. Slowly searching the house, they meet in the kitchen confused.

"There is no one here" Talia says and Jack shakes his head annoyed.

"In the rooms it has no clothes or anything, they must of gotten a tip we were coming, we'll have to tell the gui..." Jack is cut off with a loud smash is heard right behind them, as they turn around, weapons drawn, ready to fight a monster, they are faced with a small little girl with a terrified look on her family, a glass smashed on the ground as she came to get a drink. Without a second thought she runs.
