3rd POV
The sound of happy cries echoed in a brightly lit room filled to the brim with various toys. From figurines to dolls, to wooden boxes to puzzles, it was a wonderland for children of all ages. In the center of the various knick-knacks, was a man with (H/L) (H/C) wearing a long black coat with a gold chain secure around his neck.
The man laughed at the small boy in his arms, and when he moved his legs, it revealed his sleek black pants accompanied by dress shoes. Giggles escaped the white-skinned boy, fiddling with the man’s white gloves and purple sleeves. Gently prying away from his grip, the man smiled as he handed the boy a toy horse and fixed his gloves, “Do you like daddy’s gloves?”
With a cute expression, the boy in his arms squealed in joy as he rolled his toy horse, “Yes.” Feeling his heart melt at the adorable expression, the man slowly turned him around as he rose from the ground, “Does daddy look okay?” His son glanced up and with a handsome smile, he nodded his head and began making grabby hands towards him. The man quickly kneeled, watching as he swiped his hat, happily messing with the purple feather.
Before he could undo the knot, the man spoke, slowly grabbing his hands and taking back his hat, “Don’t do that sweetie. Daddy needs this hat to complete his look. Plus, this makes us match.” Nodding his head, the boy reached up to his head, messing with an identical hat, but much smaller. He was adorable in every way in the man’s eyes. His little striped suit, his shiny black dress shoes, and his tiny white gloves only amplified his innocent aura. “I’m just like daddy,” Squealed the boy in joy, his voice filled with love and warmth as he gazed lovingly up at his dad.
Unable to hold back, the man laughed as he scooped the small boy into his arms, peppering kisses all over his face, “Yes you are! My handsome little boy!” Before they could do anything else, a knock was heard on the doors behind them. The man’s warm face washed away as a stern look took its place. Settling his child comfortably into his arms, the man turned to the doors and called out to them, “Enter.” His voice was cold and emotionless, it was as if he was a completely different person.
The door swung open to reveal a shapely dressed silver-haired woman. Her black shirt hugged her waist tightly, shaping her wide hips, her brown stockings showcasing her strong yet slim legs. Her brown blouse was snug against her large chest, her sleeves rolled up as her buttons kept them in place. On her left wrist was a white watch, tied firmly, needles indicating that it was 4:09. Her black heels clicked loudly in the bubbly room as the lady held out a clipboard in her right hand with a loud sigh, “Some pirates managed to break through Ether’s Gaze.”
Hearing this, the (H/C)-haired man closed his eyes in annoyance as he snuggled his son, “Couldn’t they have broken in tomorrow? Or earlier this morning? Keep them in the Absolute Chamber, I’ll speak with them in the morning.” The silver-haired woman rose a brow as she tapped her clipboard, “You have a meeting in the morning that you can’t reschedule. Can’t I urge you to meet them now?” The air seemed to warp around them as the (H/C)-haired man glared hatefully at her, “How dare you try to interfere with our time?”
