M/N Pov
A few years had passed since back then when the Monarchs took me in and started to look after me and I had no complaints as they were like my new parents that would do anything for me even now as a young teen they still spoilt me but one thing they didn't give me was training. All I wanted was to train so I could fight and be strong like them so I could protect others like me but they said I didn't need to as it was their job even though they never left the house.
No matter how much I begged them to train me the answer was always no making me huff and decide after the millionth time of asking I'd train myself so every night after they checked up on me I snuck out my window and trained for an hour every day before falling asleep and I felt much better knowing I was doing something to help others and once I was strong enough I was leaving so I could just that. I would of told the Monarchs my plan but since they were so overprotective and barely let me out the house as a child I knew they wouldn't allow such a thing to happen so I had to leave without telling them.
Two years had passed and I deemed myself strong enough so at night after packing my things I left through my window following my map for the nearest town which took a while to find but I did it after 3 hours making me sigh relieved as I was tired from all walking. Just as I step into the town I hear screaming making me look up from my map seeing people running as the houses were set on fire making me run ready to help only to be held back I look behind me seeing yhe Monarchs not looking happy "we need to help them!"
They started chuckling making me confused "were not helping them as punishment for leaving us and training behind our backs" "I wanted to help people!" "Why? There all bad creatures theres not a good soul out there all these people would just kill you" "they wouldn't" "they would its why we never let you out because every human wants to kill you after all your unique M/N" blinking I find myself back in my room but my window now had bars on the outside making it impossible to climb out of "we'll take them down once you learn to behave and listen to us."
