When I get into house, there was Susannah who was preparing lunch. "Oh my god Amelia, you've changed so much i don't even recognize you." Susannah told me. " I think that i look pretty much the same" i said. "You do not look the same at all. You're growing up. You're in bloom. Susannah has a way of saying things that almonds makes me believe her. "Laurel, she's you all over, and Belly is just like their father" she said to my mum that just came into the kitchen."Well people actually say that i look my dad and Belly like mom" i said."No, when you're mother and i met, she looked just like you." Susannah said." Except i had no boobs at all" my mum told me making me wanna throw up.

I got upstairs to my bedroom. It looks the same. Belly and i had separate rooms, because if boys can then we can. I looked around a little when Belly sit on my bed with her taddy bear junior mint." Of course you still have that bear" i joked. That is the bear that Conrad gived her. Jeremiah brust in my room and jumped on my bed next to Belly. " C'mon guys, let's go swim before dinner, please." Jeremiah asked us. " We can't, we have to go with my mum to the Whale of the tale. Belly told him " Aw, man, i wanted to go in the ocean all day, but i've been waiting for you guys to get here" he said. "You know what, i can go to the Whale of the tale with mom, and Amelia you can go swim with Jeremiah" Belly suggested. " Belly are you sure you want this" i asked. " It's okey Amelia don't worry" she said " thank you so much Belly i love you".
"Yess, alright I'll met you outside. Okey?" He said " okey i'll be right down" i wore some purple two pieced bikini and went downstairs. Jeremiah waited me down.

As I walked down the stairs, Jeremiah stared at me a few seconds. I'm sure that because of my body. "Are we ready to go" i asked Jeremiah who was still in transe. " Uhm- yeah yeah let's go" he said like he almost choked. We went outside and start walking twords the ocean. "Hey did you know that my dad i coming on the forth of July?" I asked him. We arrived at the beach " i waited all year for this" i said. " You want to race" he asked. "No-no n
I can't, you're legs are too long-" but then i dropped my towel and start running towards the ocean. "You cheater!!!" He yelled as trying to catch up with me. We got into the water. We were playing in the water. He was trying to drown me but then he fell and almost drowned him self. I started laughing like maniac and he did too. God i love moments like this, i could spend my whole life here with him.

It's dinner time. All of us are sitting at this big table, eating and enjoying each others company." Steven i swear to God, if you look at that phone one more time, I'm putting it in the screen basket" mom told Steven." It's just we want to see your beautiful faces. Can dinner be screen-free zone please? You you know, like the olden days." Susannah said." Steven" Jeremiah said as he saw that Steven didn't put his phone down. Then Here took his phone and trow it in the basket."Dude are you kidding me?" Steven madly asked "Boom! Nailed it!" Jere celebrated." Okey,okey we get it, you've been working out" Steven said to Jeremiah. " Oh,you're just jealous that Jeremiah has better body than you" i said as Jere and i made eye contact. "Uh, no actually, it's all about lean look now. Otherwise you can't wear tailored suits." The whole table laughed at Steven' sentence." When are you leaving for the training camp?" Steven asked Conrad. " Uh, he quit football" Jere said. " Wha- wait you really quit?"Steven asked. "Yeah" Conrad said." Are you kidding me man, I'd kill to play Collage ball". "He can always change his mind" Susannah said. "I'm not, i was gonna sit on the bench all seson" Conrad said. " Well if you're not playing football anymore, what are you gonna do all summer" my mom asked him. " Oh dude, you can work at the club! With me and Jere! Steven said. "Wait you guys are working this summer ?" Belly asked them " yeah, I'm lifeguarding and Steven is working at the snack shop" Jere said.

"Oh Belly, Amelia , i almost forgot!" Susannah said " i have a surprise for you two" she gave me and Belly some white letters. " So this is why you had to stop by the country bar" my mom said to her. " Wait what is that" boys asked. " I wringled the girls an invitation to be a debutants" she said. " Is that the thing where girls wear white dresses and curtsy ?" I asked. I heard about that a few years ago but i wasn't interested. " It's where a girl comes of age, and is presented to the society. I-i know it's sounds silly, but i swear it's fun. Girls comes from all over New England to Cousins just to be a part of it. You'll make so many new friends." Susannah said to us. " I cannot believe you are still holding on to this archaic dream." My mom said. " No, it's used to be about finding husband, but it's about networking. They teach you leadership skills, like how to market yourself, and it benefits charity. It's, um, like bat mitzvah." Susannah again. "Hah it's not like bat mitzvah. There is nothing relegious about debutante ball." My mom said. " The whole deb scene is bullshit. It's for sheep." Conrad added "No it's not. It's when a girl has a coming out, it's formal recognition she's reached maturety" susannah said."oh I'm sorry- mature ?" Steven laughed " yeah" Susannah said.
" Belly and Amelia? Mature?" He said. " A couple months ago, Amelia's cat died you made a furneal. A belly made us all to wear black " Steven said. " Shut up Steven i saw you crying in your room" i added." Wait, Mochi died? Dang I'm sorry Amelia" Jere said to me " Amelia, Belly ,don't you wanna get all dressed up? " Susannah asked us " it's just not their kinda thing, Amelia maybe, but Belly definitely no" our mom said " She's out fear little alley cat" she added. And all the boys laugh at that." I'll think about it" i said. " Yeah me too" Belly added.
