It was a gloomy Sunday morning, Rosè was walking on the damp pavement which was soaked that midnight due to the heavy rains. Thankfully, the dance held last night has ended before the first sign of rain even appeared.

She held her jacket close to her as the morning breeze hit her like cold daggers. Rosè was surprisingly a morning person as she usually jog every morning before going to school. So this kind of cold mornings was not new to her.

But today she didn't go out to run. She was here to check up on the prisoner,  as Jimin instructed. In her relief, Jimin have gone off to wherever hell he usually go to.

There wasn't much people walking around this part of town given that there was no work today. She only walked pass 2 to 3 people, usually elder ones who tends to mind their own business.

A few more minutes of walking, she finally reached the stone building. She walked towards the back where a stairway was leading directly to the basement. As she walked downstairs, the feeling of anxiety has finally hit her. Because, behind this door was a creature that can kill her.

But she was more afraid of the monster outside than the one in here. So with that in mind, she gathered up her courage and unlocked the doors using the skeleton key that Jimin gave her.

Opening the door, the musty air hit her. It was unusually colder in here than the temperature outside, sending shivers down her spine.

The place was dark. Thankfully there are a bit of light coming from the small grilled windows which were just above the level of the ground outside. She tried to find the light switch by feeling the wall adjacent to the door.

When the light opened, she finally got to see the basement of this building. Though it is a small town, this was her first time visiting this place.

The basement was laid out like the local police station. She deduced this as she frequents the station, given that her mother is the chief of police while her father was a lawyer.

The floor has a bit of a puddle, probably because of the rain last night. If the rain continued, it would have flooded in here. She thought, seeing the signs of flood on the stone walls. This might explain the musty smell that hits her.

She walked towards the right side where an opening was. If her deduction that this has the same layout as the police station, then the cells must be in here. And she was right. However, the cells here are far greater in number compared to the ones in the police station. The police station only has two. This basement on the other hand has probably more than 10 both on each side.

Looking at the first cell through the small opening on the thick metal framed wooden door enclosed with railings, the space was no larger than her bathroom, probably 1.5m wide by 2m long. There are no windows, except on the door itself where she was looking from, giving it a gloomy glow given that the only light source is the yellow fluorescent light bulbs lined in the aisle. There's no bathroom as well. She could only imagine the awful smell this place had when it was used in its hay day.
