Alois' Orders

"So, your Highness. Your schedule for today is very busy: you will have breakfast, your Uncle Arnold arrives for afternoon tea and you must write the invitations for our hosted ball." Claude swiftly takes a bow as he stood a few feet away from his master, Alois Trancy.

"Oh, Claude, what would I do without you?" The young master complimented. Silence rang through the office room for a minute or so before Alois took a stand from the desk, dusting off his black shorts. "I suppose I'd have to find that out myself, then." With that statement, Alois set off to have his breakfast.

Breakfast was boring. The same boring eggs and toast and tea. The same thing, everyday. The young boy didn't enjoy repetition, nor did he enjoy irritation, though that aspect was natural. Seeing as Claude was off doing butler-y business, Alois ought to have some fun. The other butlers stood on the outside edges of the room, uniform on, towel wrapped around their arm, blank stares filling their faces, eyes glowing red with hunger. Their stares are comforting, yet there's only one stare he'd prefer.

Scraping his chair across the floor, the young master stood up, skipping toward the stairs. There were many rooms on the second floor, and with that many rooms, there ought to be some fun things to do in there. Some sort of secret passages he hadn't found. Maybe even some of his fathers things to sift through.

Yes, but where to start? He thought, pulling off his irritable coat and draping it over the railing. He'd be able to cause hell to at least one of the butlers for sure. Maybe Claude will even notice him acting as a brat would? What would he do? Nothing, probably. Claude, being Alois' main butler, would result in him acting very preposterous at times. And by preposterous, he meant too stiff. But he enjoyed Claude's presence, craved it at times. He's never failed him yet.

Rushing to the first door on the left, Alois stumbled upon a guest room. Hannah must have spent some time on it for this room was in neat order from top to bottom. Spick and span.
