Kageyama looks at Kindaichi before he takes his phone from his pocket, takes a photo of the note, and pulls Kindaichi inside.

Kindaichi "..."

Kageyama "..."

Kindaichi "I..."

Kageyama texts one of the officers working on this case the image of the note. He glances at Kindaichi again and takes his arm and pulls him to the living room.

Kindaichi "..."

Kageyama "Call your dad."

Kindaichi "..."

Kageyama "..."

Kageyama "Kindaichi?"
Kindaichi "Y-yes."

Kageyama "Call your dad and tell him what happened."

Kindaichi "Mmmm."

Kageyama "Because I won't allow you to go home alone after this."

Kindaichi "I know."

Kageyama nods as Kindaichi leaves the room with his phone. Few seconds later, Kageyama's sister appears at the entrance of the room. Kageyama looks at her as a wide smile spreads across his face before it drops again.

Kageyama's sister "Morning."

Kageyama "Morning."
Kageyama's sister "Why do you look so gloomy?"

Kageyama "..."

Kageyama's sister "What happened?"

Kageyama's sister sighs as she walks slowly toward Kageyama and sits near him.

Kageyama "This happened."

Kageyama hands his phone to his sister before she frowns.

Kageyama's sister "Okay, this has gone too far."

Kageyama "Mmm..."

Kageyama's sister "And they are after Kindaichi now too."

Kageyama "Apparently..."

Kindaichi "Dad is coming here..."

Kageyama "Mmmm..."
Kindaichi says as he sits near Kageyama again.

Kageyama "The officer said that they would come over and asked you to stay.."

Kageyama's sister "Do you have any idea who this might be?"

Kindaichi "Not really..."

Kageyama's sister "It is alright."
Kageyama's sister "I hope the police were able to reach something..."
Kindaichi "Yeah..."

Few minutes of silence pass before the bell rings.

Kageyama "I will open the door."
Kageyama's sister "Okay."
Kageyama walks to the front door slowly before peaking into the pinhole. He lets out a sigh when he sees an officer standing outside. He opens the door quickly and greets the officer after inviting him inside.

Officer "At first, we speculated this to be bullying."
Officer "But it is dragging on to other students as well."

Officer "Boys, both of you go to separate schools, right?"
Kageyama "Now, yes, we do."
Kageyama "But we used to be in the same school in middle school."
Officer "Is there anyone else close to both of you that might get targeted as well?"
Kageyama "Kunimi."

Kindaichi "..."
Officer "Can you call the boy to come over?"
Kageyama "He is here, but he is still sleeping."
Officer "Wake him up then."
Kindaichi "I will do it."
Kageyama nods before Kindaichi stands up and leaves the room.
