"Sorry, I was late, love."

"No need to be, Astoria."

I let my wife hold onto my arm as we go around the place. I see MC happily chatting with everyone, but I knew they were interested with his heavy accent and good looks.

"Is that MC?"

"Sadly, yes. It would be rude to not invite him. My father insists that I let him join the fun."

"I understand he is your boss but worry more about yourself. You had to save MC several times with no reason."

I admit I am a tad overprotective but what will you do to save your friend from possible incidents?!

No, I can't...

I look at my wife before looking over MC. Realizing what I felt, I rushed to the balcony for some air. Is it even right to like somebody behind my wife's back?! What are the wedding vows for?!

As I'm about to leave, I see my father and MC in the hallway alone. Away from the party, I decided to follow them until they reached my father's office.

The door was left slightly open, so I peek to see my father sitting on the table, while MC is in front of him, holding a glass.

I take a sip of Fire Whiskey before handing it to Lucius. He wasn't kidding about the years old alcohol tasting better.

"I want to know you more. Like, what made you hire my son?"

"I see potential, pushing aside the media talk about his past. What I saw in him is character development and his skill in the field."

"Mm~"

Lucius is indeed alluring for an old man. He puts the glass down before looking at me. Suddenly, I feel my lips pressed another. I flinched at the sudden action, pushing Lucius away.

"What was that for?"

"I know you like my son, MC. We both know it's a sin to like a married man."

"If we're talking religion. I don't think you have the right to speak of the holy law."

"Am I wrong though?"

I never thought of him as a observant. He's wise, yes. I just don't think I should do this to myself and Draco.

"It's nice talking t--"

Barely finishing my sentence, I feel his lips crashed into mine. It felt wrong...

"MC..."

Lucius and I stop to see Draco standing there. My eyes widen, trying to explain the misunderstanding. I never thought his lips met mine. His arms around my shoulder, eyes closed. I can't help myself but kiss back.

"Don't hog the man to yourself. Didn't I teach you to share."

Draco glares at his father before grabbing my wrist and drag me to who knows where.
