Harry Potter

In my 4th Year, I receive letters every Friday. I assume it was from Cho Chang, but she admitted that she never send letters addressed to me.

"Harry, another letter?"

"Yes, whoever this girl is, she has a nice penmanship and her poems are lovely."

"You sure, it ain't from a guy, normie?"

We both look to see MC leaning against the doorframe. MC claims he's not a conformist so he pierced his ears, dress 'differently' and seldomly attends class, but passes. Even if he's reprimanded, he still does it. The teachers can't do anything about it, because his grade is great and he didn't break many rules.

"Why would a guy send Harry letters?"

"Anyone can like anybody, Weasley. How do you think Granger comes to like you? I'm sure it's not about the looks."

"Why you ought!"

"Ron, it's not worth it."

I manage to stop Ron from charging at someone twice his size. MC laughs before apologising, which calm most of Ron's rage building up.

"Think about it, Potter. Majority of the students are part of the LGBTQ"

This left me, confused and look at the letter in my hand. What MC says made me overthink, I don't fancy men but knowing the possibility is leaving me to question it. I have MC to remind me everyday for every letter sent. 

I was never close with MC until that day, and I'm not going to lie but he's awfully sweet around me. It's subtle but I knew he has good intention, like looking out for me or he would ask me about the letters which led me to talk about it a lot, a lot more than I would with Ron and Mione. The past weeks, I feel similar affections towards MC as I am with the sender. I deny the matter because the sender has always been in my mind. 

"It's Friday again, Harry."

"I'm aware, I wonder what poem did they write this time."

MC walks with me to the Owl Tower to check for a letter. Hedwig screeches before I grab the letter from his feet. I unseal the letter to reveal the poem.

Let this be the final curtain on my pursuit.
 I spent years to come close, to have finally succeeded.
It's uncertain if you knew, I spend every minute,
Afraid to be caught, but alas you never heeded

Harry Potter, you knew me as an unruly fella,
But I can assure you that I'm more than that.
I'm the sender, you are worried about.

Once I finish reading, I look up to MC standing in front of me. My affections towards MC grew twice, never to assume the person in front of me, will be my admirer.

"I knew I will be rejected at this point, but it was fun."

"Is that why you were sending me letters?"

"Not exactly. I had my reasons to stay back and not get my emotions get the best of me. If I was a pretty girl, I will have greater chances, right?"

"MC... Don't say that."

"No worries, I'm kind of a pessimistic kind of guy. I assume the worst."

"Then don't... I want to give this a try"

MC's expression were stunned. I hold his hand before looking into his eyes.

"I don't fancy males, but lately I find myself attracted to you. I thought it's because I feel bad for any guy that I want to like men, but when I spent more time with you, I find your charms beneath that persona. You are so kind, gentle, and pretty straight-forward. Call me gay, because I'm gay for you."

MC let out a short chuckle before kissing the back of my hand. I never expected this kind of relationship to happen, I didn't exactly fall in love with him but I know I might end up being obsessed.
