(Ken's Room is the Image Above :3 )
Ken ducked and weaved through the woods with his legs throbbing as the adrenaline was wearing off, but thankfully he could see the village and just made a B-Line towards his house, slamming the door and gaining the attention of everyone in there.
For some reason, Nuffink was among those in there and immediately noticed something off about his friend.
"Woah Woah, Ken what happened buddy?"
He just mumbled something about dragons, blood, and blue eyes before ignoring everyone's attempts to calm him down and rushing to his room, collapsing onto his bed and bursting into tears.
Nuffink quickly ran inside and questioned his friend asking what was wrong but Ken just stayed quiet, he could still feel the cold breath on his face, the warm blood dripping on his face and he got reminded of that fateful day...
Flashback.
one day the two boys were walking through the woods and they stumbled across dragon hunters which he thought was a bit strange but then suddenly Nuffink was taken hostage with a blade against his throat begging for help.
Ken was petrified he was frozen in fear and didn't know what to do. So with his mind clouded with fog, he pulled out his dagger and freed Nuffink from his grasp, and started continuously stabbing the man Over and Over and Over and Over until his body was cold and limp.
he let go of the knife and backed away from the body and broke down into tears giving him a terrible phobia of blood and cold things. It's been 6 years since that day with Ken being 14 and Nuffink being 13 but it doesn't matter how many days passed they will have never forgotten that day.
End. Of. Flashback
Nuffink knew that day all too well and all he could do is just rub his best friend's back while Ken just let his feelings out. Eventually, he calmed down and looked at Nuffink with grateful eyes.
"Thanks, mate...sorry for bringing the mood down, you repaid your favor"
The blonde just rubbed his hair with a bashful grin on his face but he was a little confused and curious about what happened that made Ken break down like that and enough to remind him of THAT day.
"Hey what happened back there?"
Ken was hesitant but slowly explained everything from the 2 Dragons fighting to how he almost died and the mysterious boy who had absolute control of the jet black dragon, Nuffink scratched his head a little confused but he quickly ran downstairs and out of the house.
"I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!"
He quickly ran to his house and Ken was a bit confused about what he was doing that was until Hiccup came speeding out the house and within seconds was in Ken's room breathing heavily while Nuffink just came back and calmly sat down.
"You said a jet black dragon right?!"
He spoke with 100% seriousness and Ken was surprised as he was usually calm and organized but this felt different.
"Um...Yeah there were two dragons and one of them was jet black with purple eyes and the other one was black with little white spots"
He seemed a little disappointed but perked back up when he heard about the other one, but he was more shocked than anything, he had thought all the dragons had made it to the hidden world so was a surprise.
"This is serious....we have another nutjob flying around and terrorizing people and we don't even know how that kid has a dragon".
He went out of the room to discuss it with the other adults leaving Ken and Nuffink to just sit there and think about what just happened.
"He seemed a bit on edge about something, I wonder why?"
Ken stated while looking out the door a little bit confused but he turned to Nuffink who had "that" look on his face, it was the type of face that Ken knew all too well. It was the face he made when he had an idea, a stupid one at that.
"We should go see if any more dragons are here in Berk!"
Ken looked at Nuffink with a confused look on his face, He knew his friend could be wreckless but this was a whole new type of stupid.
"You realize what you just said right?! and you also realize I was almost killed by a dragon right!?!?!"
Nuffink put his hands up defensively and just laughed a little.
"Yeah...but aren't you just a tiny bit curious about what could be out there in the woods! they could be lost or hurt if we don't look!!"
Ken shook his head, there was no way he was going back to the forest no matter what Nuffink said or did.
A Few Minutes Later
Nuffink was peaking through the bushes in view of an open field, the same open field where Ken had been attacked, Ken was also in the bushes and he was disappointed at himself for letting himself get dragged into this.
"Shhhhh! we need to pay attention."
He just rolled his eyes while looking out the bush and was about to leave when he heard something rustling in the distance with Nuffink taking an interest, Ken just rolled his eyes and looked out the bush but then froze.
It was the same black and white dragon he had seen before but this time there was another one with her, this one was mostly white with black spots on the nubs on his head, The two boys look at each other and then at the dragon in awe.
"Ken... you're seeing this right?"
He just slowly nodded while he stared at them while they seemed to be talking about something.
Nuffink wanted to get a closer look but when he stepped forward a branch snapped as Ken dragged back into the bushes, both dragons looked towards the sound and arched their backs up growling menacing causing the two boys to stay quiet.
They both end up flying away somewhere which caused the two of them to hop out of the bush and give a giant sigh of relief, Ken looked towards Nuffink and just smiled.
"Thanks for convincing me"
(Heya People sorry this took longer than I thought lol and you might be wondering "Where's Ruffrunner?" and don't worry he will be incorporated into the story later. I hope you are enjoying the story so far!)
