It was 2am.Stella and Kelly were asleep in bed when Stella's phone rang.
"Babe" Kelly said shaking Stella gently.
"Mmm" Stella said.Stella rolled over and picked up her phone. "Hello" Stella said.
"Hi,is this Stella Severide" The person asked.
"Yes" Stella said a little confused.
"I'm sorry to inform you but your sister has been in a car accident" The person said.
"Wait,what" Stella asked sitting up.
"She's in the hospital on life support but we are going to have to take her off soon" The person explained.
Stella hung up the phone and got pants and shirt on.
"Babe" Kelly said.
"Brooklyn's been in the car crash" Stella said as tears fell down her face.
Kelly got up quickly and got dressed.They both rushed out of the house and rushed to the hospital.
"Stella Severide" The doctor asked.
"Yes" Stella said.
"In here" The doctor said and then pointed.When Stella walked in the room,she just broke down into tears.She just seen her sister laying there hooked up to the machines.
About and hour later,they were in the waiting room when the doctor walked into the waiting room.
"How is she" Stella asked.
"Um" The doctor said with a sour face.Stellas heart stopped.
"What" Stella asked.
"Brooklyn went brain dead and unfortunately her heart stopped working so we had to take her off life support.Im so sorry" The doctor said.
Stella just broke down into tears.She turned around and just sobbed on Kelly's chest.
Kelly held her tight as she cried.
Later that morning..
"Good morning,starting with news 7 and a very sad morning actually" One of the news reporter said.
"Yea,and 19 year old girl was driving home around 2am when a drunk driver went onto her side of the road.He hit her head on and then made a semi crash into her" The other news reporter said.

That morning at the firehouse.Everyone had no clue to what happened,until the news turned on.
"Wait,Mouch turn it up" Brett said.Everyone went quiet.
"Right here is where 19 year old Brooklyn Kidd was fighting for her life after 2 cars hit her at 2am" The news reporter said pointing to the crash site..

"Brooklyn did unfortunately lost her life a few hours later"
"She was my sister" Stella said crying.She looked down as tears fell down her face. "Drunk driving needs to stop" Stella said. "She was a friend,a sister,a niece and a cousin" Stella added.

"My sister was unfortunately killed in a car crash last night.I still have no words.Please keep us in your thoughts and prays.Memorial service and her funeral will be posted soon.Fly high sweet Brook 🕊❤️" Stella posted on Brooklyn's Instagram a few hours later.
